I stare out the express window, thinking about how I can act during school as a new member of a death eater. I don't know how I'm going to conceal the dark mark, especially during hot summer days. I also don't know what to do when my sleeve accidentally hikes up and shows off the mark to everyone. My teeth sinks into my bottom lip as I think about all of the possibilities that could happen to me.

"Celeste"

Zabini calls out, causing me to snap my head towards him.

"Are you okay?"

He asks as I snap out of my trance.

"Yeah, just really tired"

I reply.

I look at Draco who is sitting besides me, he intertwines out hands. My smile does not last long as Pansy decides to join our company.

Oh, how I just want to get rid of her.

I begin to look out the window again as they all begin to talk. Draco and I's hands continue to intertwine as he complains about Hogwarts.

During the summer break, I learned many things about Draco. I learned how bitter he has gotten after we both attended our recruitment ceremony. He pretends to hate Hogwarts so his feelings doesn't get shattered if something bad happens to the building, but I know that he adores Hogwarts as much as everybody.

I fingers fumble with my emerald gem as I stare blankly at the moving trees.

Feeling extremely down and utterly bored, I decide to dig out a gift from my book bag. Only Draco pays attention to my action as everybody else converses. His eyes gazes down to my hands as I place a neatly wrapped, petite gift box onto my lap.

Around a week ago I have received this gift and I never bothered to open it until now, being too occupied with becoming one of the death eaters.

I untie the silky blue ribbon that is wrapped intricately around the box. With a small smile, I pinch the small note card.

To,
Celeste

From,
Your great friend,
Samuel

I flip the card around and read the cursive words with a growing smile.

I know that Malfoy only gives you green jewelry, so I thought that blue will be nice once for a change. Make sure Malfoy doesn't steal it and "lose" it, this piece is one of a kind. -S.C

I place the note card into my blouse pocket before opening the small box. My gloomy mood dissolves as I eye the sapphire necklace in awe. The silver that is in the shape of small butterflies are on the top of a droplet shaped sapphire. The gem glimmers against the express light as I move it around in the palm of my hands.

I excitingly take off the emerald necklace, carefully placing the necklace onto my lap before wrapping the sapphire necklace around my neck. I look at the necklace through my reflection on the express window. I adoringly stare at the reflection as the strikingly blue gem sparkles.

Draco's hand around me tightens to the point where my fingers feel like it is crushed, causing me to whine. I pry his hand off of me before his hand completely demolishes mine.

I stare at Draco with a smile, causing his small scowl morph into a small smile. His eyes roam around my face, taking in my warm lit features.

My attention snaps from Draco to Harry. I watch Harry walk into the great dining hall with a severely injured nose, causing me to glare at Draco with frustration.

"Is that why you shooed me away?"

I ask to the blond that is sitting in front of me.

"None of your concern"

He replies coldly.

"It is my concern"

I say as I place my hand on top of his.

His hand flips before engulfing mine possessively. A small smile appears onto my lips as his thumb caresses my hand gently. I feel my hand slowly transfers it's warmth to his blatantly cold ring.

We both smile each other as Dumbledore gives his annual welcoming speech. We pay attention to his words as he discusses about Tom Riddle. I watch Draco with concern as he disassociates, one of his hand under his chin as he does so.

He snaps out of his trance after Dumbledore's speech ends. I squeeze his hand with a small smile as I observe his behavior. He softly smiles back as he squeezes back my hand.

My attention from him shifts to a girl that is next to me as she taps my shoulder.

"Who gave you that necklace? It's so beautiful"

A girl next to me compliments, pointing to my new necklace.

"Thanks, it's from my friend"

I reply as I turn my body towards her, my hands still inside of his.

I notice how Draco's hand tightens around my hand as he stares at the sapphire necklace that is around my neck.

"Where did your friend buy it?"

The girl asks as she eyes the sparkly gem.

"I'm pretty sure that he left the shop's business card in the box"

I reply as I dig my hands into my robe pocket, trying to search the gift box. I stray my hand away from Draco's as I open the box. With a smile, I hand the jeweler's information to the girl. She thanks me as she takes the small paper.

"Wow, France"

She says, causing me to chuckle.

"Does your boyfriend live there?"

She asks, causing Draco to choke on his water.

"Erm, I'm afraid that he is just a friend"

I awkwardly reply as I look down to the table.

"I deeply apologize for that mistake"

She sincerely says.

"But yes, my friend does live there"

I reply.

"Her boyfriend lives here"

Draco sneers with every ounce of jealousy.

He glares at her with all of the hate that he can muster from his body, hitting her like a sharp blade. Her mouth drops as fear strikes her, her horrified eyes cause me to break the tension.

"Sorry about his behavior"

I apologize to the poor girl.

"Again, I am very sorry about that mistake"

She apologizes, more directed towards Draco.

"It's fine, right Draco?"

I ask.

Draco doesn't say a word, he just rolls his eye before resting his chin onto his hand.
