The Affair

The signs were there I knew he was cheating on me but apart of me wanted to believe it was a short fling so a month went by and then another and the affair was still there. As a women who's six months pregnant I took this calmly as I could for the baby but I was broken. I finally had enough after the third month as he came home early and brought me the groceries and I just finished making dinner. We ate and talk normally as we finished he got the plates and washed them.

"Let's go for a walk" I told him as I hugged him from behind and kissed his shoulder as he tilted his head to me and gave me a warm smile as he patted his hands dry and turned around to hug me and kiss my head. "Sure let's go kitten" he said as he held my left hand the one that had my engagement ring and we walked outside.

"It's beautiful isn't it?" I asked as I walked ahead a bit and I turned around to see he was on his phone which caused me to frown slightly. "Yeah it's gorgeous" he said as he put his phone down and we saw the sunset. "I can't believe in a few months We will have our baby... I promise you now that I will always protect you and never in a million years cause you any pain I'll be the best husband and dad" he said as I just smiled as he pulled me for a kiss. I savored every moment with him until he got a call and he took it while motioning for a minute alone. "Your promises mean nothing to me I trusted you"I whispered as I saw him come back a few minutes later. "Let's go back home it's getting chilly" he said as he rubbed my arms and we walked back to the house. "I'll be back in three days another hero agency called me for a mission" he said as I crossed my arms "this is the third agency this month shota" I said as he zipped up his suitcase "well I've been busy and seeing we have a baby on the way I want this to be a safer place" he said and that same excuse had been made the last three months. I sighed knowing it's a lie as I walked up to him and held his hand whatever he said next would choose my path on whether I should stay or go "can you please stay?" I asked as I tried fighting the tears that wanted to spill. "I wish I could kitten now stay safe I love you" he said as he kissed me and walked out the house "...No you don't" I told myself as I sat on the bed and tears began to fall.

As I finished my last bag I called a taxi and I left the bags by the front door. As soon as I was going to double check if I left anything behind someone rang the door bell. I opened the door to see Mic. "Hey y/n!" He said as he looked at me and gave me a hug and walked in and saw the bags. "What are you-" I cut him off "cut the bullshit mic I know you know all about the affair my husband is having" I said as I looked at him and he gulped nervously. He began to reach for something but I tapped his forehead and I looked into his eyes. "You will wait an hour until I am gone to call aizawa and tell him I am gone for good" I said as I brain washed him and made him sit in the couch. The taxi car honked as I waved the driver over and had my bags loaded. I walked to the stationary as I wrote a goodbye note along with my signed divorce papers with my ring as I waved bye to mic and closed the door.
