Chapter 7

Ariez's POV

I didn't know what to do. I froze on my place, standing like a statue. Just what the hell?

"Ariez, come here. Sit beside Radan." Mom said and I didn't have the time to complain because she already pulled me and make me sit beside him. He's so near! Our skin are touching! I can't calm myself, gosh!

Dad, Jaylo and Chane already sat too. I can hear my heart beating so fast! His effect on me is really something! So unfair! Dapat ganito din ang epekto ko sa kanya pero sitting pretty lang sya.

"How did our mother ended up knowing each other?" He asked and I looked at him. Our eyes met for a second before I turned my gaze in front. I can't stand looking at him for too long. I just can't.

I shrugged.

"I have no idea." I said.

Wala ng nagsalita because the mass already started. Our arms are always touching. Parang ayaw ko na tuloy maligo. Paano kaya kung lagyan ko na lang ng plastic yung left arm ko? Para hindi mabasa diba?

I shook my head when I realized how dumb I'm thinking about. I can't believe I'm thinking about that. Seriously Ariez? Hindi maliligo? What the ef?

I focused on the mass and then the "Our Father" part came. This has been my favorite part since then but right now, I can feel my hands trembling. Jaylo held my right hand while my left hand is still on my side. Do I really have to hold his hand? Baka maghyperventilate ako!

I almost jumped when I felt Radan's warm hand holding onto mine. That made me gulp and I bit my lower lip to stop the smile that's been wanting to come out. My G! Kinikilig ako. Yung kamay ko na lang ang hindi ko babasain. What if I cut it then display it? Ipaframe ko din kaya?

Napatawa ako ng mahina dahil sa mga naisip ko. My shoulders are shaking and Radan probably noticed it that's why he looked at me. He gave me a questioning look but I just shook my head. I know Jaylo also heard my low laughs but him being him, he doesn't care about it.

After the mass, Mom and tita Rinnah kept on blabbering about things but of course they used their low voices because we're still inside the church. When we were finally outside, Mom went to Dad and whispered something.

Dad nodded and they looked at us.

"C'mon." Dad said. Lumapit na kami sa sasakyan namin at bago pa ako makasakay ay nahuli ko pa ang tingin ni Radan sakin. I smiled at him before hopping in. Wait, was he staring at me? Or was it just a coincidence that he looked at me on the same time as I look at him?

But God! If he was really staring at me, I might throw a party later, joke.

Dad started the engine and drove off. I was kinda wondering why Mom didn't even said goodbye to tita Rinnah. Oh well, maybe they have plans on meeting with each other on the other days.

I can almost see our house so I'm preparing my things already but Dad just pass by our house. I looked at Jaylo questioningly but he just shrugged. Hindi ko na lang din pinansin kasi baka may pupuntahan pa kami.

After a few minutes, we stopped at a garage with a big house in front, it was more like a mansion. Our house is also big but this one is bigger. I wonder who owns this wonderful place. It's so modern. Wow.

We hopped out of our car then another car entered the garage. My eyes literally widened when I saw Radan coming out of the car together with his family. Oh wait! Don't tell me they own this house? Just wow!

How lucky I am today. I didn't only get to meet his parents but I also get to see and enter their house! The hell! Masyado akong siniswerte ngayon, might as well use it well. I'll use this chance to get to be closer to Radan. I mean yeah we're now interacting with each other but we're not that close yet so I'll use this chance. I'll claim it.
