Chapter 4
My phone’s ringtone echoed in my room. I have no class today so I thought I can enjoy my sleep but that call disturbed my beauty sleep! Can’t they just call later and let me continue my rest?
I didn’t answer the call but it rang again! Ugh! I swear I’m going to kill whoever is calling me. Padabog akong umupo sa kama and reached my phone on the side table. I didn’t bother looking at the caller because I am so pissed right now. Big time.
“What do you want?” medyo maarte kong tanong. I heard a chuckle over the phone.
“Ang taray naman ng umaga girl!” Napairap na lang ako nang mapakinggan ko yung boses. It’s Gian.
“Oh shut it. Just tell me what you want, Vro. I want to continue my sleep.” Inip kong sabi. I call him Vro whenever I’m pissed at him para mainis din sya. He really doesn’t like someone calling him Vro dahil nakakapanlalaki daw, babae daw kasi sya eh. He once asked his parents why they named him Vro but they just shrugged.
"Yuck! Eew! Ang dyosa hindi dapat tinatawag na Vro! Nakakadiri!" Nandidiring sabi ni Gian. I just rolled my eyes.
"Just tell me what you want!" I said, annoyed.
"Ito naman. Red days ka ba kaya ka ganyan?" Pang-aasar nya pa. Dahil sa inis ay binaba ko na lang yung phone ko at tsaka humiga ulit but my phone rang again. I groaned in frustration. Argh! Just let me enjoy my rest! Is it that hard to understand?!
Inis kong sinagot ang tawag
"Ano?!" I said angrily.
"Haha ito na sasabihin ko na. Binaba mo naman kasi agad eh. Gigil ka bhie?" Gian said at tsaka tumawa.
"Just say it!"
"Mall tayo." Because of that, mas naiyamot ako. Like what the heck?! He disturbed my beauty sleep just to say that shit?! Can't he tell me that when I'm awake?! God! I can't believe this gay.
"So, you just called me just to say that?" Madiin kong sabi. Nagtitimpi na lang ako. Guluhin na ang lahat wag lang ang tulog!
"Ah hehe. Ariez ganito kasi yun--" he tried to explain but I cut him off.
"Ang sarap sarap ng tulog ko tapos tatawag ka at yan lang ang sasabihin mo?! Are you joking me right now?! What the ef! You can tell me that when I'm wide awake!" Inis na sabi ko.
"Chill! Chill ka naman muna. Baklang to. Nasira ang eardrums ko dahil sayo. Ganito kasi yan, si Minds naman talaga ang nag-aaya. KAYA WAG MO AKONG SINISIGAWAN DAHIL NAGAMBALA DIN ANG BEAUTY REST KO!" Nailayo ko yung phone ko sa tenga ko because of his sudden outburst. God! My eardrums hurt! May plano ba syang bingihin ako?
Dahil sa sigaw nya parang biglang naglaho ang antok ko. This gay really shouts loud! It can even wake up someone's sleep. I'm wondering, is his vocal chords fine? Masakit yun sa lalamunan lalo na at ang lakas ng boses ng baklang yun.
"Chill ka din. Chill. Okay, I'm sorry for shouting at you."
"Whatevs. Kita na lang tayo sa mall, quarter to 10." He said before ending the call. I blew a long breath at tsaka nag-inat. I looked at the time and I almost shouted because of so much annoyance! God! It's only 7 o'clock! 10 pa kami magkikita ah! Pwede namang sabihin sakin ng 8! Gosh! My precious sleep.. huhu ang ganda sana ng tulog ko kaso may gumambalang tikbalang.
Ugh! I will surely kill you Gian!
Wala na din naman akong magagawa dahil nawala na yung antok ko. I jumped out of my bed before planking. It has been my daily workout. Before doing my morning routine, I am going to plank for 1 minute first. Minsan na lang kami makapunta nina Minds sa gym eh, because of school works, kaya ito na lang ginagawa ko to maintain my shape. Lalo na at ang lakas ko kumain. Bakit kasi ang daming masarap na pagkain?
