A snobbish English person reciting all his crimes was not what he thought he would hear before he died. He was the Captain Jack Sparrow after all. He at least expected it to be a cannon or the sound of a gun, but no it was an English man and the random noises of the audience to the hanging. At least he wasn't alone. Although it was rather strange company.

The man next to him stood tall and confident before the noose. Unlike Jack, he was blindfolded and gagged with a cloth. Why they took such precautions for this man and not Jack confused the pirate. But once Jack heard the violence of his crimes he understood. The man reading didn't even bother reading the whole thing, much less the man's name.

The nooses were tied around their necks. The executioner's hand was on the lever. Everyone waited. Except for Will Turner that is. Cause it seems that a rescue was in motion for Jack. The lever was pulled and Will threw a sword at Jack's feet for him to balance on.

To say he was relieved was an understatement. But he quickly turned to look at his neighbor. Luckily, there seemed to be someone out for his rescue too. Before the man could even start falling, a knife cut through the air and straight through the rope that tried to end him.

Jack watched amazed as the man fell roughly on his feet and, without any hesitation, pulled the cloth inhibiting his speech down and let out a loud piercing whistle.

As he whistled a figure came running through the crowd straight to him. The person cut his binds and fled as soon as they handed him a dagger. Jack started to feel a bit jealous at how well planned the unknown man's rescue was compared to his own.

Jack froze. He couldn't tell if it was the noose still threateningly around his neck or the effect the man had on him, but all he knows is that as soon as he pulled down the blindfold and looked jack straight in the eyes with burning, golden orbs, he felt his throat go dry. For once he had nothing to say. The man did though.

With a sly smirk on his face and an amused look in his eyes, he said one thing to Jack before running off.

"Thanks for the distraction."

Jack very quickly decided that he didn't like this new person.
