'It was too early for this' I sighed out as I was sitting in a chair while being next to my husband the sun was barely pecking up.

I rubbed my eyes as I yawn ever so slightly, all Atem's loyal sacred guardian holder were at the table wide awake they called a meeting early this morning.

Atem and I are even hardly awake especially with the night we had...

"Are you paying attention?" Sero asked almost hissing out looking over at Atem and I

"I do apologize it's early in the morning, I am not fully awake yet. Can we not hold this later on?" Atem asked attempting to keep himself focus like me

Seto exhaled from his nostrils as he held a scowl on his face looking at the both of his as soon as he opened his mouth someone more like Nani interrupted him before he could saying anything

Nani held a smile with her eyes closed on her face as a tick mark slightly appeared "Now now, Seto don't say anything that will cost you your job" She paused opening her eyes to look at him, her usual bright hazel eyes are dull and blank in a way making shriver at the sight

The atmosphere in the room was thick badly. Almost as something happened, hearing Nani talk snapped me out of my gaze

"Before Seto lost his temper, my king we called this meeting mainly because of two things. One the towns people are being killed the number only getting higher by each passing week. Two someone attempted to break into the palace last night as your highness were asleep. Seto along with Priest Mahad was able to apprehend the criminal. We locked him up into the dungeon waiting for further order My king" Nani said as she held her temple as bit rubbing it

"It brings us to believe that someone is causing to strike fear into the city, and cause us to believe someone is behind it "your sacred guardians" Nani said making air quotes with her hands "Generals and I have proposed ideas to you, we need to take actions before people given to the fear of the organization and become apart of them, and overturn your kingdom" Nani said finishing looking both at Atem and you

"We need a answer" She said as looked at both of you her eyes holding onto slight fear but still holding confidence

"I see..." Atem said as he sat up being fully awake as he sighed holding his head "I will go over the ideas you all proposed and give you answer before nightfalls" He started off as you kept your eyes on him, his eyesbrows furrowing slightly as he was conflicted as he kept talking

"As for the prisoner in the dungeon, hold him up for questioning. Find who he works for and where they might be located." He said looking down at Seto "I entrust you can do this Priest Seto"

Sero nodded his head making a hum noise "Any resections?" He questioned looking at Atem (you sadistic rawr—I am sorry)

Atem sighed again "I wish for no blood to be spilled but" He sucked in a breathe as it was hard for him to say the next few words "If he refuses to talk do what you must"

Seto nodded as kept the thought in mind

"As for the killings Priestess Isis, Nani, Priest Shada along with Priest Karim we shall ride into town to investigate and ask town people what will be going on, be ready at high noon" Atem said as they all nodded he waved his hand in dismissed as they all left to attended to their duties
