Mellissa’s POV
I sat there awkwardly with Liam after Harry went upstairs. Liam gave me a knowing look, as if he had a suspicion on what was going on.
“So, you and Harry, huh?” He asked. Yep, my suspicions were true.
“No, theres nothing going on between us.”I blushed.
“Yeah, whatever, I saw you two were about to kiss or something.”
“Okay, but I don’t think he likes me, Liam. He can have any girl in the entire world, any girl. Ones that are prettier, smarter, skinnier, stronger, cooler than me. I can’t compare with them, so why would he pick me?”
“Maybe he thinks you are that girl, that gorgeous, smart, strong, and ultra cool girl. You don’t have to be crazy unhealthy skinny to be pretty, Mellissa.” I looked down at my feet. “Mellissa, look at me.” I glanced up. “You are gorgeous. You are perfect for Harry. Did you know that I have never seen him as happy as he has been since you arrived? He has this light in his eyes that I’ve never seen, he has been a lot less moody and has been so much more pleasant. You make a difference in his life, you may not see it, but its true. His smile isn’t fake anymore in interviews when he sees you out there, smiling at him.” Liam wiped a tear off my face that I hadn’t realized had slipped down. “You’re the reason why he smiles.”
“But Liam, he admitted to being a womanizer.”
“You do realize he hasn’t even gave a girl a second glance since you’ve been around? This girl came up to him once, I forget where you were, practically waving her boobs in his face and he completely ignored her, didn’t even look at her. That’s a big deal, Mellissa. So believe me when I say that you are something special, like magic to him. You’re like a feel-good drug to him.”
“Drugs?”
“What about drugs?” Harry entered the room, towel slung low on his waist.
“Put some clothes on.” Liam demanded, not breaking eye contact with me.
“Yes, Dad.” Harry fake sneered, then laughed. He trudged back upstairs, going into his room. Liam did not speak until Harry’s door clicked shut.
“Think about it though, make a move. Something subtle but says ‘I like you in a non-platonic friendship way’ if that makes sense.” Liam looked up at the ceiling, thinking.
“Oh, by the way, congrats on getting back together with Danielle! Harry said you weren’t the same without her.” I smiled sadly, resting a hand on his arm.
“Thanks, but stop changing the subject, Mellissa, we have a task at hand.” He chuckled.
“Dammit.”
“Language, you’re almost as bad as Niall.” I flicked his nose. “Anyways, by the way I’m ignoring the fact you flicked my nose, we have to get Harry to realize that he is head over heels in love with you-“
“-But you don’t know that-“
“-Ignoring again. And so once he realizes it, we have to make him jealous so he fights for you. Once Harry gets riled up, he wont stop until he gets the girl he wants. I’m not going to lie, when he finally gets you, hes going to be sooo horny that all he wants to do is bang your brains out, sorry.” I blushed at the thought. “And then you will live happily ever after and then have twelve kids and a huge house….”
“Whoa there, tiger, she isn’t doing any of that. Any boy that comes near her will get his balls chopped off.” Harry entered the room, fully clothed, ruffling his wet hair over my head, sprinkling me with water.
