A small yet meaningful conversation occurred just before the bout within the luxury box seats.
"So, Clinton, who is watching Jiro right now?" Lynden asked.
"Oh, well JIL at the moment since almost every agent is here enjoying the graduation." Clinton replied thinking JIL was more than enough to keep surveillance on the most wanted adolescent.
"Hmm... I don't think that's a good idea, any volunteers before I pull out the straws?" Lynden asked.
"Oh jeez, not those stupid straws..." Patti said.
"He sure does like using those on us..." Ryuzaki said.
"I'll go. I don't mind and It is quieter there, where I can read." Vlad said, volunteering himself for the task that most weren't interested in.
"You were reading this whole time?" Nikolai asked, how can one read when the event has just begun?
"Yes..."
"What a bore..." Patti said.
"Alright, JIL! Put Vlad on the access list to the holding cell #4." Lynden said.
"Done. Do you want a refill on your soda sir?" JIL replied.
"You're drinking soda?? I thought you were trying to cut back..." Ryuzaki asked.
"What... This is water..." Lynden said, then whispered to JIL, "Yes JIL, I'll take a refill..."
