"Who's Ready?!?!?!?!" The announcer said before Ichi grabbed the mic from him and snapped it in half.
"You're annoying..." Ichi said.
"Good thing I always grab a spare." The announcer said, then thought, "Damn brat..."
"Begin!!"
"This shouldn't be too hard." Ichi said.
"You shouldn't underestimate me..." Sofia said, then swiftly swung straight for Ichi's head with a right hook. Ichi barely dodges it.
"She's fast..." Ichi thought. Sofia then goes for a swing with her other hand, which Ichi quickly blocks. Sofia doesn't let up and immediately swings her leg towards Ichi's head, which Ichi dodges this one as well.
"Dammit, I can't hit him..." Sofia thought.
"You'll have to do more than that." Ichi said, then goes for a swing to Sofia's right. Sofia blocks his swing, and Ichi immediately punches Sofia in the chest, which sends her back a bit.
"She was actually able to block that..." Ichi thought.
"Wow! It seems as if Ichi has met his match!!" The announcer said.
"We'll see about that." Ichi said.
"Damn brat, I hope she whoops your ass..." The announcer said.
"What?"
"I said this is probably the best youth class."
Sofia immediately goes in for another attack, trying to catch Ichi off guard. Ichi dodges and blocks her quick attempts to capitalize.
"Nice try..." Ichi said.
"You shouldn't lose focus on your opponent." Sofia said. Ichi then pushes her back again by palming her chest.
"Maybe I should stop holding back..." Ichi thought.
"He's just maneuvering my attacks, when is he gonna attack? Maybe I'll just have to up the ante..." Sofia thought, then said, "Kyo."
"I was wondering when you'd use that." Ichi said.
"His arrogance is on another level..." Sofia thought. Ichi then zooms at Sofia, going faster than usual
"What?! How did he get faster?!" Sofia thought as Ichi went in for an attack, which is an uppercut move. Ichi's fist then froze right underneath Sofia's chin.
"This is the same trick she used before..." Ichi thought. Sofia then immediately knees Ichi in the chin and this knocks Ichi to the ground.
"Yeah! Kick his ass, Girl!!" The announcer shouted, which received a second look from the crowd.
"Mhm... I mean, what a hit! Sofia is showing that it won't be easy against her!"
"I watched her fight earlier but still can't figure out how to find a weakness to her Kyo... I don't even fully understand it." Ichi thought as he got back up.
"Ichi needs to focus on strategy now, I hope he doesn't get full of himself." Saijo said within the crowd.
"There are supposed to be three subtypes of Kyo. Elemental, Object, and Beast... but her's doesn't really fit in any of the three... She is possibly Ichi's biggest challenge within this tournament..." Saijo thought.
"She probably has the highest potential out of every kid within this youth program..." Saijo said.
"I'll probably have to think of a maneuver where I'm able to somehow get close enough where I can attack from multiple angles..." Ichi thought.
