Opportunity

Meanwhile, within the holding cell of the convicted, Vlad found himself in silence, which is a first since him arriving down here. 

Jiro was fast asleep, and this was perfect timing for Vlad to continue reading the detective novel that he looked forward to.

"Finally that kid shut up..." Vlad thought. 

Little did he know, there was another individual present just outside the cell. 

It was none other than Kitai, another member of the Yamada, and likely here from Jiro's promises.

"Just another obstacle... This shouldn't be hard." Kitai said.

Vlad continued to read his novel, especially during this climactic part of the book where the detective finds out his partner was working for the mafia this whole time. How could he trust another person like he did his partner again, this is truly devastating. 

His reading was halted by a loud thump on the steel door of holding cell #4.

DING!

"Hmm..." Vlad said, wondering what the hell was that.

"What the hell was that..." Jiro said, clearly verbalizing the shared thought within the room.

DING!!

Another bang is heard from the door as this time it creates a dent within the steel. 

Vlad grabs his sword which was leaning against the wall by his chair and stands up, prepared to cut down whatever was on the other side of that door.

DIING!!!

The door then shoots off and beams straight at Vlad, which he acts accordingly by slicing the door in half with his blade. 

He looks up and sees the two uninvited guests within the doorway, Kitai, along with another person. 

This unknown man was in pretty much all black, along with a scrappy goatee and dreadlocks. He also had dog tags dangling from his neck. 

Kitai is also dressed in all black as well, different to what he wore within Block D, but still donning what appears to be his favorite color. The man with Kitai is Vince, another member of the Yamada.

"Wow, he really cut that in half, how come you didn't do that?" Vince asked.

"He clearly isn't a pushover with that blade."

"You won't get any further than where you stand." Vlad said.

"I told you they'd come for me..." Jiro said.

"Well... let's see how long this will take." Kitai said.

"You really have some balls breaking into HQ..." Vlad said.

"Well, we heard graduation was today so why not." Kitai said.

"They heard about Graduation... only agents who work for the IJA know about that..." Vlad thought.

"I'm getting bored here." Vince said.

"Patience is needed..." Kitai replied, then Vlad whipped out a handgun from his back.

"Don't take another step or I'll put a bullet right in you." Vlad said as he aimed straight for the two criminals.

"A gun won't stop me." Vince said as he walked forward, daring Vlad to shoot him.

Vlad fired at Vince, only keeping to his promise, but only the most unexpected occurred after. 

The bullet dropped onto the floor and was dented after it hit Vince.
