Dib carried Zim around on his back. The alien was light, which wasn't too much of a surprise.
"Over there, Dib!" The Irken said with a tone of pure excitement, pointing to a ride called the Slam N' Roll. Dib watched the ride briefly. People were screaming as the cages rolled and spun upside down. He smiled and shifted Zim more comfortably on his back.
"Are you sure, space boy?" Dib asked with a small chuckle. Zim nodded.
"Yes! Zim is very sure! Let's go!" The alien pointed to the ride, his lilac-colored contacts shimmering in the bright, warm sun.
"Okay, okay!" Dib laughed. "Chill!" He carried his lover to the ride. When they arrived at the front of the line, Dib and Zim showed the tired carnie their fluorescent orange wristbands.
"Go ahead." The old man grunted, opening the small gate to let them in. Dib smiled, nodded, and let Zim down. Zim, being a clingy little bean, grabbed the human's hand. Dib blushed faintly, interlacing their fingers. He led them to a dull blue crate. They climbed into the tight space. Good thing Dib was lanky and Zim was small.
The old man who was at the gate wandered around the industrial steel platform of the ride, making sure that everyone and everything was safe and secure before turning it on. Dib could hear his boyfriend whimper a bit as the carnie clicked their cage shut. Dib leaned over, closed his eyes, and pouted his lips for a kiss. Zim accepted it, melting in the comfort of Dib's love and warmth.
"I love you." Dib said softly, giving the alien one more peck on the lips before the cage clicked and began to move.
"Zim louves you as well." The Irken replied, clinging to his lover for dear life as the ride started to spin. The scrawny teen tried his best to comfort his trembling alien, but his efforts were soon wasted as soon as the crate flipped upside down causing Zim to scream at the top of his lungs. Dib cringed at the sound. He held Zim close so he wouldn't slip out as the thing flipped. Finally, the ride came to a halt. Zim was shook, but Dib comforted him and they shared cotton candy.
