Two years have passed since the whole incident and each had his own way of moving on. Marvel had just begun a new life, since he spent a whole year at his grandparent's trying to recover and move on. The other year was spent at work, developing the program to perfection, offering it to companies for funding, advertising the app. It's been the busiest two years in his life. One where he learned how to walk again, and the other where he learned how to run. Finally, life was showing him the bright side, the app was a hit, ad got him loads of money; enough to start his own company, which he had begun to establish. The first year wasn't easy of course, the constant nightmares, the panic he felt when hearing any loud sounds. That year helped him overcome his fear to face the world again, not overcome rose. In fact, it was the second year which helped him the most. All the work he had, and he even went to complete his education at MIT; it made him forget her, not everything though, just the painful parts. After all what happened, a part of him believed that there was a piece of the puzzle missing; it still believed that she would never do that to him. He would often visit the pizza store where they had dinner, not because he loved their pizza but the memories were irresistible. He would sit down and wait for her to come sit next to him but she never did. That's when he realized the ugly truth, she left him behind as if he was nothing. Then he would get up and leave, every single time. Things had never been better for mike on the other hand, after the whole success, he and Marvel became partners in their new company. He went back to college, also, and he got back in touch with his parents; which he never really thought he needed but it was true. Moreover, for the past two years, he has been sober. As for Tanya, she was a proud mother, and felt grateful every day for the way life rewarded her. She lived in peace, and learned how to let go of the past and forgive. She came to a resolution that nothing was anybody's fault, it's just the way the universe works. and from forgiveness, she was able to live again, love again, she was herself again. Everything was going to the better now. Marvel and Mike were both packing their stuff from the small place they shared, because soon each one would move to his own place with his own bed and everything. It was a great deal for Marvel since it was the first bed he had in two years that was truly his. When he got inside the place he could see mike getting ready to move the sofa with him. He looked at him with confusion and said "are you taking this thing with you?"

"hell, yeah... it won't feel home without it" replied Mike confidence

"you seriously want your new place to smell like a bag of Cheetos?!"

"yes, this what home smells like to me"

"I won't be visiting then" he replied with a smile

"look at Garfield going all fancy! I remember you dreaming of sleeping on that couch"

"well, I did before I actually smelled it"

"stop fooling around and go do something instead" told him Mike while trying to reach out for the stuff under the couch

"okay then, boss" replied marvel and then threw a pillow at him and went towards the wardrobe. A few moments later as he was moving their stuff from a shelf, a piece of paper fell from the back of Mike's old jeans into his lap. It looked old and was stained with blood. A certain feeling stung in Marvel's heart because he knew this letter was from that day. His hands began to shake and he was trembling from the memory of it.

"is there something wrong?" mike told him from behind

"nothing, nothing" he replied while placing the paper quietly in his pocket. He then headed to the kitchen, sat down and started reading the paper. There wasn't really a lot of words from the first look at it, but as he went through the words he was shocked. He kept reading it over and over. What does this mean? Does it mean that the part inside of his heart was always right? Does that mean that everything wasn't a lie after all? The letter itself confirmed that there were no lies when it came to her feelings. Turns out that she left because of him, because she wanted him to live. The past two years he had spent trying to hate her, but couldn't; maybe because of that part inside him that proved to be true. He began to tear up because he knew that she was gone now, it's been two years. She has probably moved on now. But what if she didn't. what if she was just as stuck as him between love and hate? Then his concentration went upon something else, how could Mike keep this letter for all this time? How could he tell him in the face that it was all lies when it wasn't? he fiercely got up and headed towards Mike
