"Okay, wait. That was such a cheap--"
"Boom! We win!"
"Wh-- Huh?!"
Enid and Glenn shoot up from their seated positions, quickly embracing each other and laughing. You and Maggie simply stare at the board in confusion, absolutely dumbfounded by their sudden victory. "But... we were ahead by 20 points...", Maggie mumbles, her mouth hanging open.
"Enid distracted you two while I made sure to cut off your pathways, securing an easy win for the Blue Team!"
"Mhm! You two didn't even see it coming! Ha!"
You shake your head with a smile slowly gracing your lips. "That... was a surprisingly smart play for you to make. I didn't know your brains could use more than two brain cells at a time", you insult, earning a snort and a high-five from your teammate.
Glenn scoffs, not hesitating to pick up a game piece and throw it at you and his wife. You dramatically roll back, clutching the area it hit. "Aah! Illegal move! Blue Team is now disqualified!"
"Red Team wins by technicality!", Maggie adds on, her shoulders shaking from laughter. Enid gapes at Glenn, before trying to disprove your team's claim. She then proceeds to call Carl and Michonne over. She and Glenn frantically explain to them the situation as you and Maggie continue cackling on the ground.
"Okay, well. I'm taking Blue Team's side on this one. They already won before they pulled an... 'illegal move', as Y/N put it."
"No, wait, Carl. They still pulled an illegal move period. They're disqualified, so that means Red Team wins."
"Uh, no."
"Uh, yeah."
Glenn, Carl, and Enid argue with Michonne while you and Maggie finally calm down, hiccups of laughter happening every so often. That's when Michonne calls Daryl over. She then explains the situation to him, and he doesn't hesitate to take Red Team's side.
"Yes! There we go, Daryl! That's what I'm talking about!"
