Hyung

A one week went by

Jungkook is doing good and not good at the same time.
His nightmares replaced to good heavy sleep which he needed after many days of being paranoid. He lives alone but still every night he feel like someone holds him, caress him and mutter sweet melodies for him.
He wished to open his eyes but sleep gets best of him and wake up next day alone in bed , he feels safe and somewhat craves that warmth with which he have gotten familiar Afterall he spent a good part of his life alone.

Bad thing is jimin haven't spared him a glance, and it hurts jungkook badly.
He can't even be mad at him because he don't know what happened and he can't assume.

With this he walks back home from another day in school, today hobi and yoongi will be back and they all planned to meet at namjoon home.

He smiled thinking about piri, they've gotten close day by day and as expected she also made friends eventually, though she always prioritised him afterall he is his first friend.

They spent time together in lunch and few classes they share, they went to watch a movie too on friendly date.

He yawns and stretch his limbs walking to namjoon's apartment directly because he is sure he'll be dead asleep if he went his home first, that's how tired he was after pulling all nighter to finish his project.

He rings the bell already bracing himself for another attack by jin hyung when yoongi opens the door for him.
He is slightly confused because no matter whose house it is, jin hyung is always the one to open door

Maybe he isn't here yet.

He greets yoongi who gave him dry greeting, jungkook didnt mind thinking he is tired from travelling though he was slightly taken aback.

He walks in taking his shoes off to be met with playful atmosphere inside.
Namjoon and hobi hyung are teasing jimin and laughing on puffy angry glare he is giving to them.

Jungkook smiles wide and goes for a hug but as soon as he is noticed all of them drop their smile and step away from him , jungkook feels like someone crushed his heart.

He also steps back with a confused and hurt expression.
Jin enters with a cheerful smile and jungkook first time in his life hoped that jin will come and hug him and tackle his cheeks but he also dropped his smile and stiffened.

He quietly placed the food on table and joined the silence with others.

Jungkook bites his lips in anxiousness, he is holding himself  from showing how hurt he is thinking that they all are pranking him.

He still gives them his bunny smile to not fall for their prank and as others sit down he also makes his way among them only for his hyung to scoot away as if he is a disease that'll infect them.

Now this prank is going way too far, getting this treatment from his one and only family forms a lump in his throat that he harshly gulps.

"hyungs, okay I fell for your prank now can you say sikes and hug me like always ? " jungkook smiles slightly while all of them are quiet and away from him, staring at each other when finally yoongi sighs and speak.

"jungkook, I'll be blunt, we don't want you anymore in our group, we are sorry" yoongi clearly see how Jungkook eyes widened.

Jungkook bit his lips and glanced at hobi who turned his head away. He looked at namjoon who gave him cold look, jin never looked at him and jungkook let a tear fall down.

"h-hyung but a-aren't we family, then w-why? " Jungkook's heart is pumping so fast that he fears it will rip apart soon or maybe it did.

"we are not family, we don't want you, stay away from us,  don't you understand you mean nothing to us " hoseok his most positive and shining hyung spoke with such cold voice that jungkook flinched.

Jungkook just stands with his head hung low and breathing hard. His hands clunched on his sides enough to draw blood.

He Can't believe this, family don't abandon, not again.
Or family is just a illusion for him that he can never get.

While other spit hurtful words to him as he just listened, all their words burning in his memories, jin finally makes movement who was quiet all this time.

He holds Jungkook's chin to face him and wipes a tear that no matter how he tried to hold together escaped and give a small sad smile while handling. him the Teddy bear that jungkook gave him a week ago.

Jungkook's grip tightened around the stuff toy as jin speaks " jungkook you should stay away from us, goodbye,take care " and turns away walking back to kitchen ,away from this tension.

Jungkook unintentionally let out a sob and tries to hide it in his heavy breathing,  all the happy and precious memories of their happy times flashed in front of his eyes as he stood still in middle of drawing room in daze.

Finally he looks up with a pained smile " thank you hyungs for taking care of me all this time, no matter what you are my euphoria b-but c-can you give me one last group hug, just this once after that I'll be away from your life, I p-promise"

He was almost begging at this point as he pleadingly looked at all his hyung who looked lost in thoughts but after few seconds theu nodded, all of them including jin.

All these events of today ended with Jungkook crying for hours in his apartment in shower.
He cried his chest out and passed out due to exhaustion under running water.

The only thought before he passed out

"maybe I never deserved them

No one wants me as their family "
