" open your eyes Jungkook~ "

Jungkook squints his eyes on hearing his name called repeatedly, softly echoing everywhere, but soon it starts to sharpen and become normal knowing that someone is calling to him, someone with sweet, caring familiar voice in front of him.

He slowly starts to get aware of his own body, his lungs taking even puffs with every rise and fall of his chest which is slowly thumping ,someone is threading with his hair, rubbing his scalp gently making him aware of his head laying on something soft, he experimentally curl his finger and toes which twitched ,he haven't opened his eyes somehow knowing that it's going to be too bright for him.

His body feels heavy , too sensitive and sore, his mind is foggy just like hangover, he gulps thickly with lingering taste of something his mind currently can't uncode

He feels the sweet familiar voice call him again and he tries to open his eyes but it's too bright just like he thought so he lays still without giving any sign that he's awake

This voice, it's familiar

Hyung?

' Goodbye, my love '

He jolts awake in Shock, his body aching badly because of his sudden moment, his eyes open wide unable to see for the same brightness that blocked his vision as he lost his conscience before, he feels someone pat his cheeks softly ,blinking rapidly wide eyes.

" Jungkook, Hey kookie"

" it's over kookie, breathe, breathe for me.. "

His blinding vision colors eventually from six blurry figure hovering over him to six familiar faces who are holding their breathe watching him like hawk as he props himself on his elbow, his eyes flickering on every single one of them.

" hyung?....HYUNG!! "

They hastily nod with tear of joy who were afraid he won't remember them, they jump toward him and cover him with themselves in their arms, the sixth member piri also had tears of joy who watched them from side of the big, all big boys smiling and crying over same time, peppering youngest face with kisses and pats.

" H-hyung, you are really here, oh my god "

Jungkook holds them tight afraid that they'll pull away too soon which they don't plan to do ever again.

Jungkook walks toward his bathroom washing his face in nothing but his sweatpants ,his body shivering for the cold as he slowly wears his clothes in his empty apartment humming the sweet melody that's enough to make a tight knot form in his throat.

It's been a month after meeting his friends and he cried for days, they all apologized to each other and pampered to his overdue share of love and attention, though he felt that nagging pinch of worry for the demon that leaves him sleepless many nights.

He got to know that after he disappeared ( to hell) ,they all got their senses back which was pushing them away from him and replied to jimin's desperate help.

Jimin's talk to exorcist gave hope but the church denied to practice it without the whole procedure of verification and Jimin didn't have time

So he tried those rituals alone and later with piri whom he got to meet searching for Jungkook, his hyung eventually joined but it was all in vain, nothing worked, no matter how many times he chanted the mantras something always went wrong as if some force was acting like a barrier.

" Trust me Jungkook, I almost lost hope "

Jimin speaks with pinch of frustration as if remembering his countless failed attempts

" but then as if god answered our prayers, whatever that was holding us back, whatever barrier there was ,it vanished just like that "

Jimin's smiling amazement made Jungkook smile too with tears forming in his eyes, he should have known, he should have payed more attention to what taehyung was doing in the basement with his spells on the day they had argument

His heart is bleeding with pain and happiness

" we finally got you back, oh lord w-we almost lost you forever "

Jimin's voice got heavy with pain and tears holding back in the crowded cafe, his hands around the hot drink from which he takes a burning gulp .

Jungkook looks outside the window seeing snow fall down as he sighs, his warm breathe frosting on the glass wall while taking sip of his own warm drink

He's happy right now, sitting in a cozy cafe wearing his overcoat with jimin hyung treating him with food while looking all chubby and adorable with his oversized beanie and yellow gloves and muffler catching up to whatever they both missed, it warms him up

Don't take him wrong, he's on cloud nine for getting his life back but he's constantly worried about the demon, it's like his heart is always crying in the corner all along that no one except a soft toy named Taehyung can cradle to sleep with the lullaby.

Of course jimin took his silence when he told him about what all happened to him in that time .

Jimin's silence lasted long and Jungkook didn't mind, he needed this silence to avert his gaze somewhere else from his hyung who seems lost in his thought

His eyes fell on pair of couple feeding each other ice cream and jungkook's heart clenches painfully similar as if he fists his palm holding a needle, he never got Taehyung to try this, he would have loved to do this

" Jungkook "

Jimin's voice successfully gained his attention, making him stare back at his numb face that makes him feel uneasy

" I'm going to ask you something and you're going to answer me honestly "

Jungkook nods, anxious about the seriousness in jimin's tone, but nevertheless keeps his back straight

" Do you miss him? "

Jungkook averts his gaze outside the window, he could feel jimin's stare on his face while he takes few snowflakes falling on the ground disappearing in the angelic white as he nods his head weakly.

" Are you worried about him? "

Another nod

" Do you love him? "

He stiffens momentarily snapping his head toward jimin whose sharp gaze stayed on his face red with coldness, he takes his mug up to take sip of his now cold latte before staring into jimin's knowing eyes with his heavy one

A firm ashamed nod

Jimin sighs before holding his hands in his warm one, in understanding and reassuring smile

" Oh kookie , you always catch hearts of anyone whom you bite when hungry "

Jungkook smiles
