Joon left his apartment with one thing on his mind, he needed to forget what had happened yesterday, but what DID happen. He got sappy and sloppy all from meeting a stranger.

What!!!!!!!!!!!

Adjusting the bag on his left shoulder gruffly heading to the café, he had to finish his thesis and also read up for his next class, apparently while he was being Santa Clause to Lisa he forgot he had a night shift today—so much for I'm free on Saturday, he got a text on a group chat talking about a new History lecturer, it made him uncomfortable cause Joon actually liked his former lecturer still he couldn't ask the school why they decided to switch up on him, he wasn't the only student there. So all he could do was read hoping to get ahead of class-but a new teacher would probably want to change a few things.

Huffing Joon kicked at the ground and shuffled forward towards the café, pushing into the adorable place he called his "second home" the little bell chimed alerting the lady behind the counter that someone just walked in, looking up she smiled.

"JJ!!!! Why'd you look like you swallowed a raccoon" Saph's blue eyes twinkled with mischief. Joon walked over smiling knowing Saph she had some juicy gossip and wanted to share with him.

"Hello to you too Saph and How are you?" he leaned in and gave her a kiss on the cheek before pulling back, Saph grabbed his hand "Guess who's in the book lounge" she winked.

This is a bad idea—walk away Joon or else
it'll be like last time.

"Guess" she probed.

"Okayyy Who?" He rolled his eyes before chuckling at her face splitting grin.

"Well a tall-tanned-green-eyed-hot-latte I tell you" she winked, Joon was convinced one day Saph would have an eye problem from winking too much.

"You know you could just say his name" Joon pulled away his cheeks turning red at her description of Kyle.

"OK Fine Kyle, but my description is way better, tomato cheeks" she squealed out hopping her brown hair bobbing up and down. "Seriously you need to get a piece of that, I mean I would" she leered.

"First off you're married and shame on you, secondly there's no piece to get he's not cake or a chocolate bar shame on you again plus I'm twenty, I think I can handle myself by myself plus he's straight" Joon laughed so hard at Saph's bad attempt to act annoyed.

"Well you don't know that" she scurried off when Pa Joel came in from the kitchen ready to yank their hair out for chatting while she was on duty and Joon was suppose to be reading.

Joon ran back towards the book lounge spotting Kyle as he stepped in—he wasn't that hard to miss been a walking sky scraper and all. At the exact moment Kyle looks up and smiles waving at Joon.

Act cool, Act cool, Act cool, Act cool Joon kept chanting in his head.

"Are you okay" Kyle's eyes had change color again looking like jades.

"Yeah, what are you doing here"—wait how did he get over here so fast.

"Ohhhh...Errr...I know you usually come here every Saturday...well not every Saturday and I didn't have time to talk to you yesterday cause I kinda saw what happened with the customer and I was concerned you know as....like as a friend" he paused like he was expecting Joon to stop him, unfortunately he wasn't going to, brown eyes blinked innocently at Kyles green ones, like he was saying—carry on, and so he did, "Yeah..as a friend so like I said I wanted to talk to you and ask what happened" he swallowed so hard Joon couldn't help but stifle a laugh.
