Can someone please explain to me why WAP has been stuck in my head all weekend?

***

Halfway through the movie we were merely inches away from each other. A blush crept my cheeks once I realized it, turning to look the other way without him noticing. He didn't, his eyes glued to the TV with a handful of popcorn in his mouth.

My phone buzzed in my pocket and I retrieved it, seeing my mom's name pop up.

Mom: Where are you?

I rolled my eyes. Can't she chill? It's only seven in the evening. I thought she'd be gone all day.

When I didn't respond she texted a few more times, getting longer by the second until I had no choice but to reply.

Y/n: CHILL I'M AT A FRIENDS HOUSE WATCHING A MOVIE SO LEAVE ME ALONE!

She'd be angry by the time we get back but not that it matters. It's a daily thing in my household.

"Are you okay?" Finn asks me, genuinely worried once he saw my glum expression.

"I'm fine, it's just my mom getting on my nerves."

He snorts with laughter. "When do mom's not?"

I nod with agreement, getting back to the movie. In the corner of my eye I saw him staring at me. Holding back a smirk I playfully pinch him.

"Ow!" He whines, trying to block my next one.

"What?" I ask with innocent. "Is something wrong?"

"No but I heard if a girl pinches you four times, it's flirting."

I shrieked with rage, kicking his stomach. "I am not flirting!"

"Sure you aren't." He snorts, blocking himself from any further pinching. "You're just touching me because you want to. I don't blame you though."

My hands frozed where they were at, biting my lip. "You're dead."

"You say that to me all the time. It's kind of getting old." I let out a growl of fustration, getting up. "Where are you going?" He whines, following me like a little puppy. "Where are you going?" He repeats again.

"That doesn't concern you." I respond. "But I'm making some hot chocolate."

"Come back to the living room."

"Why?"

"Cause I wanna-" He stops himself abruptly, seeming to hold something back. While I stood there, waiting for his response but he just thought he was the funniest person ever.

"You wanna what?"

"Oh no, nothing. You make your hot chocolate." I hum in response, putting the mug in the microwave. "I'll be in here..." Then he let out the most dramatic sigh, falling face first on the couch. "All alone..."

I coughed out a laugh. "I knew you'd say something like that. You are such a child, did you know that?"

"We are all children here. There's nothing wrong with that."

After I made my hot chocolate I found him sprawled out all over the couch. No room for me whatsoever. "Excuse you, can you scoot over?"
