Ki loved the commute to work. She often heard people saying this was their least favorite part of their jobs, but she enjoyed it. She enjoyed seeing life. Everyone was moving around like busy little bees. She loved swiping her train pass like she was a government agent with top clearance. She loves grabbing her tea and drinking it as she walked down the street, like she was the CEO, too busy for sitting with very important meetings to attend. Everyday was a story all it's own, even though they tended to look the same.

As she strolled up to her building, she wondered if anyone would notice her return. For a moment she imagined them coming to a stand still and then leaping for joy that their prized write had returned. Ever dependable Ki and her magic words and fiery pen. She had to admit, she wasn't a bit surprised, however, when she waltzed in and not a head turned. At least security would have to notice, they had to check her credentials. She walked up to flash her badge.

"Hi Do Yun."

The security looked startled and gave her a glance. He was clearly surprised she knew his name. However, he looked at her as if he'd never seen her before.

"Are you new?" He muttered.

She sighed. "No."

She left without another word and proceeded to her floor.  She wondered if Joon was at the park by himself. Was he hoping she would come? Did he miss her? He hadn't called or texted, so she felt the answer was clear enough. She scowled at her own deduction.

Ki sat down at her desk. It was an open floor plan. Only the higher-ups had private offices. But since she was one of the best, she did get to move near the window when someone had quit. She looked at the view for just a moment and then reached into her bag for her shiny new desk matt. She ceremoniously laid down her matt next to her keyboard and began rearranging her office supplies to fit her new addition.  It still felt awkward placing her things on the faces of the pretty gentleman featured on the matt. It just felt disrespectful. Then she remembered those seven men got paid to be on the matt and she felt a little better about her water bottle sitting on Jin's face. Then she realized his face deserved to be seen and instead moved it so that it looked like he was holding the giant water bottle in his hands. She smiled, satisfied with the comedic compromise.

It was at this point she heard a voice over her shoulder, "Are you ARMY?"

Ki didn't have a best friend at work, but she was grateful to Crystal for at least trying to include her. She was young  and much cuter than Ki, but Ki consoled herself by knowing Crystal had the looks, but Ki had the brains. Still, she was fun and Ki appreciated that she actually had someone that remembered her name. Ki turned in her chair to face her friend, "I mean, everyone's at least a little ARMY. What's not to like? Cute faces. Cute abs. Socially aware.  And a K-pop group that knows how to write lyrics beyond sex and love."

Crystal scrunched her nose, "You are the only person that can say love, sex, and abs, and make it the least sexiest thing ever."

"What can I say? I have a gift for words," She raised her hands behind her head to exaggerate her self satisfaction. "Actually, it was a gift and I thought it might make us look good when BTS walks through on Thursday. You know? Like we're real fans?"

Crystal rolled her eyes, "I AM a real fan. Maybe you should give it to me."

Ki placed her hands on the matt in a protective stance. "Over my dead body."

Crystal's eyes flared, "So you ARE ARMY, I knew it!"

Ki laughed, "Fine, you got me."

"Who's your bias?" Crystal had pulled up an empty chair and was leaning forward in anticipation.

Ki looked at her desk matt. These seven faces were literally everywhere in Korea. Window displays, billboards, magazines, bottles of juice. Can you even spend a day in Seoul and not see the faces of  BTS? Yet, despite their faces being as familiar as a friend, she didn't know much about them. After a short pause, she turned to Crystal.

"You pick for me. Arrange my marriage and I will fulfill my duties to the family."

Crystal accepted the challenge, "You are too old for Jungkook and too tall for Suga and Jimin." Ki cut her off, "Hey, I am not!" Crystal shook her head, "No, let the short girls have a chance," Ki conceded the point. "You are too boring for Jin and JHope." Ki didn't even try to argue that point. The truth hurts, but it's still the truth. "And honestly, I don't know if you'd pass V's vibe check."

"What? Why? What's wrong with my vibe?"

Crystal continued, "V wants to be adored. I've never seen you adore anything." Ki was impressed with Crystal's astute observations. Maybe she did have a friend.

"So I guess I don't get a bias then."

"You missed one. By a process of elimination, your bias is none other than the Rap Monster himself. RM! He's older than you, taller than you, a bit of a nerd like you, and he won't care that you can't dance because your brain is so big."

Ki laughed, "He sounds perfect for me. RM for the win!" Both girls laughed.

"Oh shoot, it's almost 9, let's go." The girls got up to get to their department briefing. She's never had a bias before. It kinda felt cool.
