Sapphire and Ruby Book 2

Part 4!!

Hey! Sorry, it has taken me so long to write this chapter and I'm sorry it is so short. I've been struggling with writer's block on basically all of my stories. BUT! I am still going to try and write them! I know you guys enjoy them so, um, yeah! Anyways, I hope you like this chapter! (If you guys have any input or ideas for the future chapters or even ship ideas of different Steven Universe characters let me know. I might change their names but I don't know yet!) 

"Okay, girls. Sapphire has to go. She's been here for too long anyways." Rose called. 

Sapphire hugged Ruby gently one last time. They had been talking for 30 minutes or more about what the ship looked like and their journey. 

"I love you," Sapphire said softly.

"I love you, too," Ruby replied. 

Sapphire and Rose walked down the hall. Sapphire saw Perry in the room where the bounty hunter was. 

"Do you know anyone else in the medical wing?" Sapphire asked.

"No. They were here before. Perry was taking care of them by himself. He likes that he has extra help now thanks to our alliance." 

"Oh. Think he's warming up to us?" 

Rose chuckled, "Maybe. He still detests us for betraying the Diamonds." 

"Oh, you mean Dimony, Dimond, Dimender, and Dimy?" 

"Yes. We are against their entire monarchy." 

They were almost to the doorway out when they heard a loud bang. Rose froze for a second trying to listen for another bang.

"Rose, it came from the observation deck! I left Pearel there!" 

They rushed through the halls to see guards swarming the entrance. They wouldn't let Sapphire or Rose in. They waited for what seemed like forever. Rose was trying to figure out what happened. All she heard was that there was an imposter among them and that there was a huge explosion. All of a sudden the guards parted and two guards ran by. One was carrying a body covered with a sheet and the other was carrying someone that neither Sapphire nor Rose could make out. He was purposefully hiding the body's face so that no one would know who they were.  All that they could see were the charred clothing and several bad burns. 

Sapphire gripped her head as she almost collapses to the floor. Her head started spinning as she was forced to see a vision of the future. She already knew that someone had died but the other person was dying and there was a possibility that they wouldn't be saved. She couldn't see who the person was though. As her head started spinning and everything went dark the last thing she saw was the vision of a bloody body and Rose crying next to it.
