Demon

Warlock's POV

The sight of so many humans truly repulses me. Anything that has to do with them makes me wanna lash out and completely eradicate their existence.

"Fuuuuuuu- I should have gotten with that cutie in the last town while I had the chance!"  My buddy, Henry, complained for the fifth time in the last hour.

Demons generally hunt and travel alone, however Henry wasn't exactly like the other demons, which made him tolerable to hang around with.

"Why didn't you?" I finally decided to respond to him.

"I would get attached. Something YOU wouldn't get- you've never even checked somebody out before." He patted my back, almost as if he was feeling sorry for me.

"Because- it's a waste of time. There's no point in any of that sappy shit." I shook my head and continued walking down the dirt road.

"Hey! Don't call my whole existence a waste of time! I LIVE to simp!" Henry sounded... oddly proud of that statement.

I chose not to comment on that, sorely because I had no idea what to even fucking respond with.

The next town should be pretty close by. Fuck... the thought of ripping a human to shreds and coating the floor with their blood... It makes me so damn excited!!

"Warlock- look." Henry nudged me slightly and I glanced over in the direction he was referring to.

Two boys, one of them leaning against a tree and the other filling the buckets up with water from the river. The one doing the task was dressed in more feminine clothes which I must admit, I very slightly approved.

I couldn't see his face since he was kneeling over and his hair covered it. The one leaning on the pine tree spotted us and almost in a rush helped the other boy up to his feet and ushered him away.

"What do you think? Easy prey or... can I flirt-" Henry had a more... excited tone for the second option.

"Let's follow them. They could probably lead us through a shortcut to town or something of the sort." I was already speed walking through the wooden bridge over the river. I wasn't planning on losing sight of them anytime soon.

"Woah! What's your rush??!" Henry increased his speed to catch up to me. It didn't take long for us to cross over onto their side and I cut through the bushes to follow them on the same path they were on.

They seemed more calm than they were earlier. I smirked a little at that.

Not for long.

The feminine one glanced back at us, then said something to his friend before they stared at each other for a little bit. I was already beginning to approach them, when the feminine one turned to look at us, and I froze dead in my tracks.

He was fucking beautiful.

There was no way in hell someone could look like that-

"Warlock? The hell? Are you good??" Henry stopped walking and turned over to me confused.

"I-it's nothing. We should just go. They probably just live in a small house and not in town. Let's stick to the main road." I turned around and headed back to the bridge.

Fuck- I couldn't be around him. I felt so damn strange.

"Alright. SPILL IT. I know somethings up with you." Henry caught on way too fast and was already standing in front of me to block my path.

"I don't know what you're talking about." I lied directly and went around him to continue walking.

He jumped over me with his demonic abilities and stood in front of me once again. "You sin with that mouth boi! Tell me the truth for once-"

I scoffed at his words. "You want a demon to be truthful?"

"You were never one to follow rules so-" He shrugged. I shook my head. This dude was not going to give up, unfortunately.

Might as well.

"That boy... he was... kinda cute wasn't he?" I could not believe the words coming out of my mouth right now. But honestly that was a complete understatement. He was enchanting.

"I beg your pardon- WHAT?!" Henry blinked a couple of times before he let out his loud ass "what".

"I said what I said."

His eyes widened. "Maybe Satan does exist- holy hell."

I frowned. "I just think he's cute. It doesn't mean anything."

Henry laughed at that. "Really? You don't show interest in NOBODY- and then you expect me not to believe it's a big deal when you find someone attractive? SORRY BUDDY- THIS WILL BE THE MAIN TOPIC FOR THE NEXT WEEK."

"I will throw you in a pool of holy water." I threatened.

"That was harsh- do you really think I need holy water that much??" Henry placed a hand over his heart dramatically.

"No comment." I held back a grin.

"Alright well- I promise I won't flirt with your guy. I CALL DIPS ON THE SNAPPER LOOKIN FELLA." He sounded very excited to be simping for someone new again.

"He's not my-" I stopped myself before I could finish that sentence.

Hm...

Maybe he could be my toy...

But what the hell do I even do to lure him away? I couldn't even get close to him without freezing up and forgetting the entirety of the English language.

"Ahhh I see it now! You are definitely falling for that young man aren't you? What was it? His innocent appearance? His feminine qualities?" Henry elbowed me in the ribcage playfully.

"Fuck off simp." I started walking down the main road again, catching sight of the village not to far off from where we were.

"You aren't gonna go stalk your crush?" Henry sounded almost baffled.

"I'm not you." I shot at him and he gasped.

"I am a simp! NOT a stalker." He defended himself.

"What's the difference?" I raised an eyebrow at him. He looked so offended which made me want to just bust out laughing. But it takes a lot for me to laugh so-

It ain't happening anytime soon.

We finally reached town and I looked around in disgust at all of these worthless creatures. Which one should I murder today...? Hm... we shall see.
