The week went by slower than I had ever imagined. It felt like each class dragged on, which I had never experienced so badly the second week of school.

It's Saturday morning, and I'm ready for detention. Well, I will never be truly ready because I don't want to go. My stomach has been in a knot all night, so I barely slept. I wanted to go walk in the halls, but not after last time.

Instead, I worked on a drawing in the common room. The hufflepuff common room is very calming, with the warm atmosphere and plants everywhere. I guess I woke up Delilah because she came down and sat with me for company.

I stand beside my dresser, trying to figure out what to wear. I feel like just being in my pajamas, but I want to wear something more special than that. Even though i have detention I deserve to look nice. I pull out a white pleated mini skirt, with a polo and crew neck. It's a combination I've never tried before, but I think it will look good.

Once I'm dressed, I pull on some white knee high socks and my tennis shoes before going to the common room. I shove some beading supplies in my bag along with my journal and my copy of Little Women.

The common room is completely empty, so I settle in on the floor and start stringing some beads onto a necklace. I hear footsteps down the stairs and turn to look at who it is. A sleepy Delilah stands there, rubbing her eyes.

"Why are you up so early?" She asks, yawning.

"I'm not. It's ten A.M." I laugh, going back to beading.

Her eyes widen, as she looks at the clock, proving that it is in fact ten. She sits down beside me, and looks at the beads.

"Can I make something?" Delilah asks, looking at all the different colors.

"Yeah, do you know how?" I ask, knowing that Delilah doesn't know much about muggle things.

      "Yes, I think so."

We sit in comfortable silence working on our beads for awhile. Eventually, Delilah finishes and goes to the library to study. I look up at the clock and see that it's edging closer to lunch time.

I shove all of my beading things into my bag and walk down the hall. As I'm walking, I bump into someone.

"Sofia! There you are! I've been looking for you all day," Jocelyn says, wrapping her arm around me.

"Did you think to check the hufflepuff common room?" I ask, laughing.

"Oh, no I didn't think about that."

"You aren't a very smart ravenclaw are you?" I ask, and she hits me in the head jokingly, as we walk.

"Ha ha, very funny. But actually, Maya told me to tell you that we are all hanging out in the gryffindor common room after dinner until curfew if you want to come with." Jocelyn exclaims, playing with a curl in her hair.

"Sure, that sounds good," I laugh, making a mental note about it.

Jocelyn tells me that she has to go work on a group project for astronomy, so we tell each other goodbye.

I head towards the great hall but stop midway. I don't have detention until one, so I have awhile until I need to go anywhere. I turn on my heel and run back to the hufflepuff room.

I slide into my dorm, and grab a picnic blanket, and head back to the great hall. It's already pretty crowded since everyone is going to hogsmeade. That is, everyone except me. I grab an apple and a couple rolls from the Hufflepuff table unoticed.
