"Get up sweetie, it's time for school." I heard my moms voice calling from downstairs. I slowly sat up, not ready to take on the day. The first day of a new school.
I've never had to attend a new school, but things happen that you don't like, and you find yourself in places you don't want to be.
I made my way to my bathroom to take a shower. I put on makeup and my outfit for the day, and made my way downstairs, and to the table.
"How are you feeling honey?" My mom spoke up after a while of silence. "You know that answer mom." She frowned, "I know sweetheart, I know it hurts... We just have to-" I cut her off, "let's not start."
"I'm sorry, I was just saying." She looked taken back by my outburst. I didn't mean for it to be so harsh, but that's the only way to keep her from talking about it. I knew where she was going, and I knew she was right.
"You know what," I spoke up, "you're right. I need to put that in the past. I'm at a new place, I need to start over. I need to start being such a little girl about it and suck it up. I need to focus on school and finding new friends." A smile crept to her face, "I'm trying to do the same thing for myself, put it all in the past."
My mom is really the only person that has been there with me since day 1, I thought my dad was but I guess he didn't care at all. 17 years wasted on a man I called my father, thinking that he actually gave a shit about me.
"I'm going to head on mom," I smiled standing up from the table. "Do you need a ride sweetheart?" She stood up as I did. "No, thank you. The schools right up the road, I can walk. I love you" I gave her a hug and started walking out.

I arrived at school right as the bell rang. I went to the office to get my schedule. It was mid semester, so I look like a fish out of water because everyone is already settled in, and I have no clue what this school is even called...
As soon as I walk in I see a two boys sitting in the chairs. One blonde, the other brown headed. If this is what all of the boys here look like, I could get use to this place. I could feel the looks the two boys were giving me, which made me extremely uncomfortable. I walked straight up to the desk and told the lady the situation.
"It's nice to have a new student, please sit down Miss Chloe. I will have a talk with the principal in a few, he's caught up doing something right now." the two boys scoffed at what the lady said.
An older man came out minutes later, "well hello boys, I see you kept yourselves out of here for a couple of days. Where's the rest of your gang?" The two boys looked at each other, both looking like they'd love to be anywhere but here.
"We're the only ones who were involved in it, why do you need the rest?" His toned just showed how much of a smart ass he was trying to be.
"Well the other two were involved in something a little different. They were supposed to be here at this time too." The principle said, he was obviously getting annoyed.
"Okay, well they're not. Can you just tell us why the hell we're here, so we can get out of here?" The brown headed boy said, sounding more annoyed than the principal.
"Okay, let me go back here and get the papers." He turned around and walked off.
The brown headed boy looked at his friend, "Luke, we have to get out of here. We have business to take care of." The blonde headed boy, who I'm assuming is Luke, looked around as if he was thinking. "Okay, is Ashton and Michael outside right now?" Luke asked his friend. "Yeah, I told them we would be out as soon as possible." As soon as he said that Luke looked at his phone and put it to his ear.
