He was laying on top of me, a lifeless body. The person that shot him walked in. It was Luke.

My lip was busted open, I had a black eye, and a huge strawberry on my cheek just from that little time. I can't imagine what would've happened if Luke wouldn't have come.

I pushed the body off of me, and got up as quickly as I could. As soon as I stood up I regretted it, looking down at my exposed body. Luke noticed and quickly grabbed the clothes from the floor and handed them to me.

He turned around and I quickly put my clothes on. And as you can see, this was the most awkward thing that has ever happened to me.

"I'm so sorry, Chloe. I wasn't expecting someone to come up here." He pulled me into a hug that caught me off guard. "What the hell did he do?" His eyes had nothing but anger in them.

"He tried to rape me, and every time I resisted he slapped me." I was crying so hard at this point. I was scared out of my mind, it was hard to think about what just took place.

He ran his finger over my bruises and cuts, "I'm so sorry."

"It's not your fault,"

"Yes it is, I should've known he was up to something."

About that time, we heard footsteps coming up the stairs. Calum and Ashton burst in and looked at the guy on Lukes bed.

"Who's that?" Ashton asked walking towards the body.

"I don't know, but he's dead. He tried to rape Chloe." Luke followed Calum to the body.

"His names Jason, he's part of their gang." Calum stated.

"How do you know him?" Luke questioned him.

"I don't, I just know he's the bastard that tried to kill me one time. I was going to kill him there, but someone came around the corner."

"Take him outside and burn the body."

Calum and Ashton took the body downstairs. They were hit men, they were literally paid to kill people. That's the job that everyone wonders about.

"You okay? You look like you're thinking about some deep shit over there," Luke laughed looking at my facial expression.

"What are you guys?" I immediately regretted it when I said it.

"What?" He didn't look too happy about the question.

"Nothing, forget I asked anything." He scared the living shit out of me. Anything I say could be the cause of my death. I felt his stare stay on my a little longer before shaking his head and chuckling to himself.

"Well, I mean isn't it kind of obvious now? You watched me receive money to kill a girl. Just to let you know, we're not the bad hit men. We kill people that need it, that have done terrible things. That Chloe girl, she had a plan to kill us. So, now we have a plan to kill her. Simple as that." I couldn't tell if he was pissed or if that was just the way he talked.

"Have you ever killed someone innocent? Like is it true what they say, that everyone who gets in your path you'll kill."

"We almost killed you." My body tensed up, just looking at Luke or any of his gang at that made me scared as hell. Being in the same room as them? Makes me wish they would have killed me.

"Can you take me home now? I really need to get home."

"No, you have to stay here tonight." He walked over to his closet and grabbed a pair of sweats and a t shirt and threw it at me.

"Um... No? You're taking me home. I'm not staying here." His mood changed completely when I said that, he looked as if someone just cussed him out.
