Luke's POV

It was dark, extremely dark. I couldn't even see my hand in front of my face. I knew it was a bad idea, what I was doing, but I was pissed. No one pisses me off more than Brad. When I saw the text he sent me, it made my blood boil.

It was all just a lie, just a damn set up that I fell for. What is wrong with me? I never fall for shit like that. How could I be such a dumbass?

I'm assuming I'm in some warehouse because it smells terrible and the floors are hard concrete floors. I've been sitting here for hours, I can tell. Where the fuck is he? If he's going to kill me, can he just get it over with.

I couldn't help thinking what happened last night. I felt like such an asshole for saying something like that to a girl I care so much about. Something about her just makes me feel really good, like not everything in this world is bad. She gives me a feeling that I can't fight, no matter how hard I try to.

I heard the door open, which snapped me out of my thoughts. The lights flicked on revealing the asshole himself, Brad. He walked over and grabbed my arm jerking me up, and I saw him grab a gun from his pocket.

"It's about time I get you. It's been years and I finally got the chance." He smirked as he put the gun to my forehead.

"Hello?" I heard a girl voice from outside the room, I heard footsteps until a girl entered. Of course, that girl was Chloe...

"What are you doing here?" I looked at her in shock.

"You told me to, didn't you?" Of course Brad would...

"Chloe run." She looked at me confused, and saw Brad. Her face dropped as she turned around. A guy was standing behind her, he threw her on the ground and tied her hands behind her. She was screaming, but it muffled as a cloth went around her mouth.

"Why are you bringing her into this Brad?"

"Why do you care? You don't care about anything but your group, right? I mean, she's just another girl... She's not even one of your good ones Luke... Holy shit, what happened to fucking her and leaving her? She doesn't look like that type, Luke." I just rolled my eyes at him. The more he talked the more pissed off I became.

"Okay Luke, why don't I start by taking her life. Since she's just a friend, you know?"

"I don't think that'll be necessary." A voice came out of nowhere. It was Calum, and the rest of the gang. Thank God.

"I'd suggest you'd untie these two and send them with us, since it's 6 against 1." Austin said.

"My crew will kill yours any day."

"Oh, and where's your crew at?" Calum smirked. "You might not want to leave them alone for longer than 5 minutes Brad..."

"Do you think I'm an idiot-"

"Yes," Brad was cut off by Calum.

"I think maybe you guys are in this case. We knew she would run her mouth and eventually tell you guys something..." I cut off Brad.

"Can you just get to the point Brad?" I said in an obvious annoyed tone.

"Don't you get it? This plan wasn't to kill you... Let's just say watch your backs and what you say when you get back to your house boys." Brad says with a creepy smirk at the end.

"What the fuck?" Is all that can come out of Calums mouth.

"What I'm saying here is, you're the one that got played. You can have these two, as if I actually want them" he laughs as he walks away.

"I'm actually really confused right now, can someone explain to me what just happened?" Michael speaks up before all of us.

"They did something to the house." Luke says as he gets up, they all untie me and Luke.

"Why the fuck did you come?" Luke ask looking at me.

"No, don't even start with me. I ignored the text, I didn't care to see you at all. It was your little friends here that told me we needed to find you." I cannot believe he is yelling at me right now.

"Well next time don't be an idiot, you should've known something was up."

"Can you just take me home, I'm so sick of this and you most of all." I roll my eyes and turn around to start walking out. I hear him following behind me, "I got her, you guys go home and see what they did," I hear him say to his friends.

The ride home is silent. I don't understand Luke at all, one minute he's sweet, the next he's a complete asshole. He seems like he gets a thrill out of just being a complete asshole to everyone. He's even mean to his group of friends, I don't understand how he has them.

"Chloe..." I'm snapped out of my thoughts.

"What?" I snap, looking over at him.

"Are you going to get out, or just sit in my car all night?" There it is, the asshole part.

"God, you're such an asshole." I roll my eyes and start to get out of my car.

"Wait," he says as I start to get out.

"What Luke? What do you want? Are you going to tell me how much of an idiot I am? Or are you going to compliment me and kiss me and completely lead me on just to tell me you don't like me and I don't need to get the wrong impression?"

"I did not lead you on. It was one fucking kiss Chloe, a kiss means absolutely nothing. And even if it was something, I can't be with someone like you."

"What do you mean someone like me?"

"You're too innocent, I can't have an innocent girl. I fucking kill people for a living, I couldn't have someone like you in my life. We're just not made for each other, we're completely different."

It hurt me to hear every word he was saying right now. It made me realize the feelings I had for him, and he doesn't have them back. Hearing the words that are coming out of his mouth right now literally killed me, but they shouldn't. He was right, we're completely different. Luke and I would never work out.

"You're right, I was stupid for even thinking you had feelings for me and I was an idiot for having them for you. Can you just stay out of my life for good, I can protect myself from now on. Have a nice life Luke." I get out of the car and walk as fast as I can to my room.
