Chapter 11

Sam's POV

As I regain some consciousness I realized I feel very hot, and I was suffocating a little, I open my eyes to see why I'm feeling this way and I realized Colby went all octopus on me, he was embracing me with both arms and some how both of his legs as well 'how the hell did he managed to get in that position without waking me up? '

I relax a little knowing where all the heat was coming from and try to bask in the moment of being in his embrace, but is way too hot for that so I try to shimmy out of his grip without waking him up.

Once I'm free I stare at him smiling ' he's so cute, at least he didn't left while I was sleeping'

Now that I was thinking about it all the memories flew back like a stampede, and with the memories a lot of questions about me, about Colby, about Jake about what I wanted, about who I was or where was I going in life, and all of my fears start to creep on me, all of this thoughts were becoming extremely overwhelming, I started sweating and my breath was not deep enough making me breath faster trying to pull more air into my lungs, I started feeling dizzy and everything became blurry, almost as if I was dying which made me panic even more making matters worse ' a panic attack mixed with an anxiety attack' I haven't have one of those since high school and even then I don't remember them being this bad.

~ you okay Sam? What's wrong?~ Colby said waking up after all the panicking noises I was making.

I tried to talk but I couldn't, my voice wasn't coming out and my body was shaking more than I could control.

~ is ok baby, you're going to be fine just breath slowly trough your nose, no not your mouth... Relax is okay you're fine~ Colby said rubbing my back.

I was trying really hard to do as he said but I was having a difficult time and at this point I was feeling the exhaustion of an attack I thought I was going to faint at any moment.

Colby pulls me into his lap and he starts rocking me back and forth while he hums like a loving mother would do to their baby.

That successfully got me to calm down, and slowly but surely I start breathing normally again.

~ better now? ~ Colby mumbled in my hair after a long silence.

I nodded my head while Colby handed me his water bottle to drink.

~ what happened to you? ~ he asked combing his fingers through my hair.

~ I- I'm not s-s-sure~ I said with a hoarse voice and an uncontrollable stutter.

~ are you overwhelmed by something? ~ he asks me
I can only nodded my head staring directly at him with puppy eyes.

~ what's that? ~ he asks.

~ everything~

~I see~ he nodded in understanding. I then cuddle back to his chest while he keeps rocking me back and forth, that's what my parents used to do. Listening to Colby's heart beat makes me relax right away 'like everything is going to be fine'

~ SURPRISE!!! ~ I hear a male voice barging in Colby's bedroom making me jump 5 feet in the air like a scared feline.

~ Elton!! What he hell?! You have any idea how much it took me to calm him down?! ~ Colby said annoyed.

~ hahaha well sorry to interrupt I didn't know you were busy I just came to say hi to my favourite nephew~ he says with joy 'auch, so I'm not the favorite'

~ so who's this cutie, are you going to introduce us? ~ Elton says slightly eying me up and down.

~ is age catching up on you? Do you need glasses? ~ Colby says with an arched eyebrow.

~ hi uncle Elton ~ I speak for the first time, turning to fully face him.
