I was ready to meet his gang although I was least interested.
We right now stood outside a penthouse of a lake facing building in Hebbal.
The door opened and I heard...
'Surpise'
I shrieked and jumped in happiness.
It was Anita Di...
Meant it was Ani Di and Bunty Jiju's home.
I was so so happy meeting her.
She pulled me inside.
I turned around and saw his face. I genuinely passed a smile to him☺️
He smiled back. Bunty jiju hugged him.
I met my cute little neice Samaira for the first time today.
She was 3 year old. Initially she hesitated coming to my arms... Then the minute I offered her some chocolates that are always in my bag she jumped into my arms.
But strangely the minute Aarya called her...
'Samyyyy'
She was squealing happiness and jumped into his arms saying
'Aali Chachu'
I picked her in his arms and then on she was stuck on to him. Looks like Samaira loved her 'Aali Chachu's company a lot 🙄
She completely avoided me.
Soon we had Aarya's other friends Vikram- Vidhi and Saahil join us.
They congratulated us of the wedding.
I smiled plainly.
Looks like Ani Di noticed it...
In kitchen while heating the food she Asked me...
'Saanjh.. I hope you have forgotten the past and moved on!'
I gave her a tough look and said...
'Im good Di... relax'
Ani Di held my hand saying...
'You don't look like Saanjh... See...I know what Ehsaan did to you was terrible.. but Aarya is a gem of a man... I know him since last 7 years now. He'll be the best husband best father Saanjh.
Look I don't know what happened between you both 7 years ago that you both broke up...
But all I can say is...give it a good shot!
Not everyone gets a second chance to fall in love again with your first love!!!'
I looked at her and passed a hard glare saying...
'Past doesn't leave you Di...may it be Ehsaan's cheating or this man's'
Just then I stopped. I realized I was going to blurt out!
No one knows what seperated me and Aarya.
We both chose to keep mum on this!
'Di...let's serve dinner' I said to avoid the topic as I was pissed.
Soon we served food but looks like Aarya was still with Samaira.
He didn't eat properly.
Soon the dinner got over and we all clicked a selfie as a memory.
After reaching home...I saw Aarya got busy with his laptop.
I quickly made some Daal khichdi and kept it on his study table.
