One of the most important senses most humans posses is pain. Pain allows us to learn very quickly from our mistakes. Picking up a sharp object, falling over, bumping into things, dropping something on your foot; the pain involved quickly allows us to learn and not to do these things again.
Without the pain, we would not learn through our failures. Without this failure, we would not learn how to succeed.
Failure is a part of life, and we make mistakes pretty much every day. Now the question is, how do we cope? Or better yet, how should we cope?
Moving into the real world, all of us want to be successful. All of us have big dreams. We all try very hard to achieve them to have a better life. But on our way achieving those dreams we encouter different kinds of failure, loss and pain and we view it as a negative thing. We see it as an ending, as proof that our plan didn't succeed or our ideas weren't good enough. But, the wonderful thing about failure is that it's entirely up to us to decide how to look at it.
Failure happens to everyone. It's almost impossible to go through life without experiencing some kind of failure. Most of us will stumble and fall in life. Doors will get slammed in our faces, and we might make some bad decisions but think of the opportunities you'll miss if you let your failures stop you.
It's important to realize that in everything we do, there's always a chance that we'll fail. Facing that chance, and embracing it, is not only courageous, it also gives us a strength and more power to continue life.
We can choose to see failure as "the end of the world," or as proof of just how inadequate we are. We can look at failure as the incredible learning experience that it often is. Every time we fail at something, we can choose to look for the lesson we're meant to learn. These lessons are very important, they're how we grow, and how we keep from making that same mistake again. Failures stop us only if we let them.
Failure can help you discover how strong a person you are. Failing at something can help you discover your truest friends, or help you find unexpected motivation to succeed.
Often, valuable insights come only after a failure. Accepting and learning from those insights is key to succeeding in life. How to Stop Living in fear of failure?
•Rise up and don't regret.
When we fail, we might be tempted to think that we have wasted our time and thus regret it. But that's should not be the case. The fact that you have done something is much better than doing nothing. Rise up and move on.•Setting a few small goals.
These should be goals that are slightly, but not overwhelmingly, challenging. Think of these goals as "early wins" that are designed to help boost your confidence. Goals help us define where we want to go in life. Without goals, we have no sure destination.•Learn from failure.
Failure is there not without a reason. Don't waste the opportunity to learn, harvest wisdom as much as possible from the failure. Each failure you encounter brings you one step closer to success.•Don't give up.
The thought of giving up is tempting, especially when we have failed over and over again. But who knows that maybe you are only one step away from success? Will you waste the long journey you have passed when you are already so close to your destination? So hold on tight and don't give up.Many of us are sometimes afraid of failing, but we mustn't let that fear stop us from moving forward. The more mistakes you make, the smarter you will become. Just don't make the same mistake twice because that will make you stupid. Learn from your first mistake and don't repeat it. Always remember that every success story is also a story of a great failure. The only difference is that the successful people never gave up. Instead, they bounced back with a much more energy and enthusiasm every time they failed.
