Tord woke up the next day to smell bleach. This made him smile
Oh thank god is the brown sea gone?
He rolled out of bed realizing he had fallen asleep in the clothes he was wearing the day prior. This didn't seem to bug him too much though. Tord left the bedroom to see the nightmare was over. No more poop. He walked into the kitchen to see Tord with coffee.
"Goodmorning Tord." He said pleasantly. Tord smiled before replying with a hello back. "Do you want some coffee?" Tord nodded yes then slowly sipped from the warm coffee Tom had given him. They sat in silence for a few minutes.
"Thank you for cleaning." Tord finally told Tom, Tom just nodded. The air was tense and awkward.
"Uh I ran into Matt at the Store." Tord spoke again.
"Oh?"
"Yeah he bought me new pants to replace the, y'know." Tord explained,
"Right."
"Long story short, he's coming over for dinner this weekend and thinks we have a pet dog." Tom looked at Tord before finally laughing.
"Why does he think we have a dog?" He continued to laugh, Tord didn't seem amused.
"It's... a long story." Tord didn't want to explain to his boyfriend how Matt came to that conclusion. Tom for once, decided not to push further.
"Ok well, what should we make for dinner then?"
"Something easy and simple. Unless you feel like cooking, but I really don't have the energy." Tord explained.
"Don't worry, I'll take care of dinner. What time is he exactly coming over?"
"Five o' clock."
"Sounds good, and don't even worry about dinner. I'll take care of it." Tom reassured Tord. For the first time in over a month Tord actually felt at ease.
"Hey Tord, how do dumplings sound for dinner?" Tord looked back to Tom,
"That sounds amazing, we haven't had them in awhile." Tom just smiled at Tord before kissing him on the cheek. "Glad you agree..." Tord wasn't entirely sure what that meant but he definitely would never forget the weekend to come.
