The Announcement

' Attention students ,' said our teacher.

When she had all of the children's attention, she continued ,' Next month we will have to play a game of volley ball against the players of another town, is anyone up for it ,' she asked gazing at all of us . 

Immediately my hand went up . The teacher beamed.

'AH, two of the best players in the school want to play , nothing makes me happy than seeing my student's enthusiasm , now any one else,' she asked again.

I turned to see who wanted to play alongside me , immediately I frowned , it was Raymond Anderson a.k.a Ray , my most troublesome but also one of the best players on volley ball team .

Flashback

I panted my sweat dropping of me like raindrops . ' GIVING UP ALREADY,' shouted Ray 

This made furious I picked up the ball and lashed it at him , he dodged it easily and threw it back and this went back and forth until I laid out my plan .

I acted like I was tired . Then he gave me an easy ball and then with my full force threw it back, he dodged it but failed to catch it .

Cheers erupted from my friends . I smiled my victory smile .

Flashback ended

'Kelsey and Raymond please meet the Games teacher after this class,' said our teacher

After the class ended , I walked with Ray to the Games room .

' So, what's up with the competition , where is it going to be held ,' I asked. Just great , what a great question Kelsey , I thought.

But Raymond answered it casually, 'In California[ I don't know the actual place where she used to live, if u get what I mean.]

I stopped dead in my tracks.

'Hey You okay,' He asked you went pale all of a sudden .

'No ,no,no, pls not there,' I said.

'Why not, afraid, 'he said and smirked.

'Never,'

Time Skip

'So , you're going ,' asked Chloe.

'Yup,' I replied .

'Then we're coming too,' said Emily.

That caught me of guard . ' Really,' I said surprised.

'Of course we're friends after all ,' said Lily.

'Thank you , but I am not forcing you all to come,' I said.

' It is our own will,' said April.

'Thank you ,'

Suddenly my phone buzzed.

HUH .It was Mackenzie, Regina and Natalie's group call.

'See ya all tomorrow,' 

'Bye,' they said 

And I walked to my house talking to my old buddies and also about the game. They were coming to watch me play and make sure the mer- ahem - Maya and Alex don't cause any trouble .
