I have been up since five this morning out trying to set up a surprise for August, I already had arrangements for the family to fly out here today. I did that last night after August went to sleep. His birthday is tomorrow and I have something for him, I've tried doing so much in just a few hours, this was a little difficult because I didn't know we were coming to California or staying here. I even had someone draw a picture of Mel, I know it will mean a lot to him. I was meeting up with a last minute party planner, she was going through everything and I helped her pick out decorations and all of that. It will cost more for to have it done before tomorrow, because that means more workers will need to be hired. I paid her and told her to get started, I also had to hire a Dj and all of that so it mostly cost over $3,000 for his party. The thing that cost the most was me letting him have an after party at a strip club, 😒 oh yeah I am going to let him have his fun, but I'll be right there and he will not be getting any private dances. I trust him, but I don't trust these bitches.
When I left I went to the airport and waited. My phone started ringing, I took it out of my jacket pocket and slid the bar over answering it.
"Baby, you're up. Good morning."
"Yeah, good mornin' babe, whea' you at?" Aug asked.
"I'm at the store grabbing a couple of things for the house." I lied. I hate lying to him.
"Oh okay, well can you get a nigga a sprite and some chips, don't matta' what kind."
"Alright. I'll be there in a few."
"Okay. I love you."
"I love you too, bye honey."
"Bye baby girl." He hung up.
"Hi guys! I'm glad you got here on time. I am having the party planner set up now." I laughed, giving mama Sheila a hug.
"Hey Aunt Shay!" I heard Kay-Kay's voice, followed by Chay and Noonie.
I smiled and they ran to me giving me a hug, I picked up Kay Kay giving her a kiss on her cheek. I have missed these girls dearly. I put Kay back down reaching for a hug from Chandra and Netia. After hugging everyone else I took Thali from Trav who was acting like he didn't want to give her up. his girlfriend laughed and shook her head. He finally handed her to me. I kissed her lips a few times and put her back in her car seat, I missed my baby so much and it's only been what, one or two days. For her to be almost three months she is so big, that's because she eats too much. After talking a little I put Thali in the backseat of the car and let Mama in the front seat and let the girls get in the backseat. I couldn't fit everyone else in the car so I had to call a taxi for them and waited. I called up some of our close friends and my brother Mason, since my parents will most likely be at work. They were supposed to be riding down here last night, once I got here I texted them, I just knew I had to plan a party for August after all that he have done for me. It's the least I can do, other than have another one of his babies and that ain't no time soon.
When the cab came I had them follow me to the nearest motel. At least if I am bringing them here, I'll pay for everything including the room and services. When they got the rooms situated and they got settled I went to the store and got Aug's stuff. I got back home and parked the car.
"Babeee!" I yelled locking the door and walking running up to our room.
I was running so fast that I bumped right into him causing us to both fall.
