Chapter 20

A/N gonna refer to Hermione as Pegasus now 😁

Pegasus Pov

It's strange. Being a Pureblood. There are a lot of rules and traditions I had to learn. Draco spent hours teaching me the general stuff then Luna and Narci- Mother taught me the womanly stuff.
Mother said normally she would have a Gala on New Years and at the end of every month, to maintain an image but at the end of every month to maintain as an image but she said she will wait until I've announced myself as a daughter of the House of Black and out of Hogwarts.
"Pegasus!" I head Draco call from the entrance. "Blaise is here!"
"Who's Pegasus?" I hear the Italian wizard ask.
I come out from behind the 6th bookcase. "Hey, Blaize."
Blaize's eyes widen "Hermione? You don't look much like a pegasus."
"And you don't look much like a blaze," I reply. "Or have a lisp for that matter."
Draco laughs then Blaize says "Touché."
My half-brother nods at me, cueing me for introduction "Mr Zabini, my name is Pegasus Venus Black, daughter of Narcissa and the late Sirius Black, stepdaughter of Lucius brother and older sister to Draco Lucius Malfoy."
"Woah! Long intro but WHAT!"
Draco whacks the Italian's head "Why are you yelling in my ear?"
"Because Granger just said she's your sister!"
"That's because she is!" he replies.
"But she's Granger."
"I was adopted."
"Ooh," he says then moans "I just got used to calling you 'Hermione'!"
We laugh.

Time skip

Days go by, Christmas came and went and now it's New Year's Eve. Blaize is staying for the rest of the holidays. Andromeda and Teddy arrive today.

I'm excited. A new millennium, new identity, new family.

Luna is very eager to have the interview Draco promised her but I told her that I can't do it until after I told Harry and the Weasleys.

Andromeda arrives with Teddy on Buckbeak. I watch from the window as five house-elves lead him to the stables.
"Cissa!" Andromeda calls. "Your grand nephew has been screaming the entire journey. Free me please!"
Mother chuckles then hurries outside and gently takes the now quiet one-year-old off of his grandmother.
Draco waltzes outside to Andromeda and bows, "Aunt Andromeda," he greets.
"Draco! It's lovely to see you again. I didn't think it was possible but it seems you've gotten taller!"
"Thank you," he says. He turns to Mother and takes Teddy off her and whispers in his ear. Most probably something about Buckbeak.

"Now Draco," Andromeda says. "You're Mother told me about the niece I never knew I had so I would like to know where she is and put my theories and ease."
Draco nods "Pegasus you can come out now."
I carefully walk through the doors and down the steps to greet the woman I once knew as the Mother of my friend now sister of my Mother and cousin of my Father.
"Hermione?!" she exclaims.
"Pegasus actually," I say. "Pegasus V Black."
"That's why you didn't tell me who she was!" Andromeda says to Mother.
She smirks.
We spend the rest of the day talking about anything and everything.
Luna and Xenophilius spent most the day in the attic but come down to watch Aunt Andromeda - as she insists I call her- teach Blaize (who had spent the day in the gardens), Draco and I different pyrotechnic spells in the evening.
We light up the night sky with different fireworks and I even get one to form the shape of Buckbeak which earned me a scowl from Draco so the evil ferret does one of a beaver then one of an otter and a rabbit.
The adults and Blaize presume he's referring to mine and Luna's patronuses -mistaking the rabbit for a hare- however, I know the evil blighter is referring to the rabbit I killed last year.

We spend the night entertaining the adults and soon it is midnight.

After thinking it over I go to Luna and say "I'll do the interview with you tomorrow but don't publish it until after I tell Harry and the Weasleys, please."
Luna nods and giggles and soon we head to bed.
