you keep on tossing and turning as you feel like you cant fall asleep any sooner, whats wrong with me today? why cant i fall asleep..

suddenly, a notification pops up on your phone, you then reached out for your phone and opened it. As you were in the dark, you were squinting as to how bright your phone were.

oh ya we exchanged numbers during class just now

with that you and Kuroo keep each other companied since both of you have trouble falling asleep. You two have been texting each other till 3 in the morning talking and knowing each other more better

you chuckled and placed your phone beside you

you then smiled and keep thinking about Kuroo and the conversation yall had, you faced the ceiling and placed your hand above your stomach

sweet talker you smiled and slowly drifted off to sleep

the next morning

"oh shit im late im late im late!" you hurried downstairs, well this is what happens when you dont sleep on time and keep on texting someone

from the distance from where you are walking you can already see the school councillor waiting outside for any late comers

shit its just the second day and im already gonna get detention

suddenly, someone tapped on your shoulder and that made you shocked and jumped. You looked behind to see who it was and it was

"Kuroo?! You're late too?"

"well yeah obviously, apparently that someone is late too" Kuroo smirked

you two rushed down the pathway and as you both made your way to the school gate you can already see the councillor tapping her feet while her arms were placed on her waist

"detention for the both of you after school" she demanded

you rolled your eyes, well at least we made to school right?

as you and Kuroo entered the classroom, the whole class pair of eyes were glued to the both of you but you just ignored it and made your way beside Akaashi who looks like he's ready to attack you with questions

"how are you late?" Akaashi asked

"uhm overslept?"

"but you always hear your alarm clock, what time did you slept yesterday?" Akaashi questioned again because you are quite suspicious this time

"3am...?" you answered knowing that youre probably gonna be lectured by Akaashi for sleeping late even though you know you have school the next day

"dummy, what were you doing? you already know we have school the next day but you still slept at such a late timing? and you came in with Kuroo too was it all a coincidence? i think the fuck not, spill the tea."

"sorry then, I cant sleep but suddenly Kuroo texted me then we kept each other companied the whole night" You grinned and apologised to Akaashi because you slept late, well yeah he's like a mother figure to you

Akaashi just rolled his eyes and continued to pay attention to the lesson

After school
you and Kuroo made your way to the detention room and sat down

"its so boring" you groaned

"i know right" Kuroo responded

after a moment of awkward silence, Kuroo decided to break it

"hmm how about we get to know each other more better?" he asked

you nod in sense of agreement

you sat in a way that you are facing Kuroo and thats when your eyes met his and it stayed like that for about 10 seconds when you decided to look away and felt that your cheeks was blushing

"okay y/n what do u see Akaashi as?" Kuroo asked

"he's a very great bestfriend, the bestfriend that i cherish the most and mostly wouldnt trade him with anyone in this world because he means alot to me."

"woah,thats very sweet of you. Akaashi is lucky to have a friend like you" Kuroo smiled but in reality he's relieved that you think Akaashi as just your bestfriend and not more than that

"hmm let's see, your ideal type?" You stuttered

"my ideal type?" he asked

he then leaned closer to you and stared into your eyes and smirked before replying
