The walk to your house was kind of awkward, but to ease it up you cleared your throat to catch Akaashi's attention.

"Hmm?" Akaashi questioned and raised his eyebrows.

"Ouh nothing" You shook your head "this ice cream is so delicious!" You compliment it. Out of everything and anything, you decided to talk about ice-cream. Akaashi looked at you weirdly and just nodded his head with a smile on his face. The sky was ashen grey and thunder started rumbling in the distance "we should walk faster" you suggested.

Just when the both of you reached the front of your doorstep, the rain started pouring heavily. You invited Akaashi inside so he can wait for the rain to stop and continue his journey home after. "Make yourself at home" you said. Come to think of it, you've never invited Kuroo to your house ever and you're glad for that if not some parts of your house will have certain memories with him and you don't want that.

You served water to Akaashi so he won't be dehydrated in the meanwhile. "I'm just gonna chage out of my uniform, be right back!" You assured him. "Sure, take your time" Akaashi replied and switched on the tv. After you changed into a more comfortable clothes, you joined in on Akaashi watching a show..

A few hours later, the show had ended but the rain did not stopped and it was getting darker. "I'm afraid you have to spend the night here" you said while looking out the window because it looks like the rain won't stop any soon. On the inside Akaashi was screaming with joy. "Ouh I'd love to, thank you y/n."

You nodded and proceed to go to your room to find any comfortable oversized shirt for Akaashi to wear. After successfully finding them, you handed it to Akaashi "Here i hope you don't mind wearing my clothes" Akaashi thanked you and went into the toilet to quickly change out of his uncomfortable uniform. It smells like her Akaashi smiled. You knocked on the door and that made Akaashi flinched which made him knock down some things "Are you alright in there? Is there something wrong?" You asked in a worried tone. "N-no! I'm okay in here don't worry" Akaashi replied back but he's embarrassed cause he messed things up. "Okay, i'll make us some food" You exclaimed and went to the kitchen. Akaashi just smiled "Girlfriend material" He said.
