"because you're nice and i love your personality its adorable" Kuroo grinned while staring at you
"oh, thanks i guess" you smiled
after an hour your detention is finally over, Kuroo decided to walk you back home since its not appropriate to let a girl walk back home alone, so not a gentleman
"you know, you and Akaashi seems a lot like a couple" Kuroo suddenly said that which makes you answer him immediately so that he wouldnt get the wrong idea of you and Akaashi
"nah, i promise you we are not and probably will never be" you replied
"yeah right, why? you like somebody else?" he nudged your shoulder
you just avoid eye contact with him and look at the floor awkwardly
"i'll take that as a yes, who's this guy?" he asked you
"nevermind, you'll know sooner or later"
Kuroo just nodded but was still curious with who you like, he didnt know why but he is suddenly interested to know more about you
is it Akaashi? he wondered
"alright we've reached our destination, It was nice having detention with you y/n. Goodbye!" Kuroo chuckled and waved goodbye
you just laugh it off and went inside your house and clean yourself up.
after getting out of the shower you sit on your bed and keep recalling about what happened in detention just now, it was like a total dream to be in one room with just Kuroo and no one else
"you" that word made you scream internally when you received a phone call
Akaashi <3 is calling...
"Oh? Akaashi?"
yea you save his name as 'Akaashi <3' and Akaashi saved your name as 'Idiot <3' just bestfriend things you know..
"hey have you reached home safely?" Akaashi asked over the line
"Hehe yea i did! Kuroo sent me back home"
"tch, you and your Kuroo" you dont notice it but he was rolling his eyes at that time
"hmm? is someone jealous?" You teased
"no but as long as he doesnt steal my title as your bestfriend then its alright" Akaashi said
"dont worry! after all we're just bestfriends right?" you replied ensuring him that nobody is going to steal his title as your bestfriend
Akaashi didnt know why but the sentence
"we're just bestfriends right?" did a thing to his heart
i'll make you mine soon, I promise.
Akaashi sighed over the phone and said "yea! of course we're just bestfriends. Well y/n i have to go now see you tomorrow dont sleep too late!" With that he hung up
you smiled
"a sweetheart" you said
Akaashi looked at his phone with the name 'Idiot <3' on his screen
