There was no way either Raizada was going to budge, and like the stubborn people they were, Arnav and Amoli had Khushi quickly shifted home. A change was immediately noticeable in Khushi as soon as they were in the car, making the Raizadas shoot a pointed look at poor Dr. Joshi. But a nurse would be staying by Khushi's side for the next two days, just for precautions.
When they arrived to the Raizada household, the other Raizadas came rushing forward, eager to see Khushi, especially Avantika. She nearly charged Khushi over as she went running over to her, but luckily Arnav had a very good on her.
"Oh my gosh, how are you? Are you okay? Are you-?"
"Enough chatterbox," Arnav scowled.
"Will you stop calling me that," Avantika exclaimed.
Arnav opened his mouth to retort, but Anjali quickly intercepted.
"Avi, let her in and relax first. She just got home from the hospital after all."
Avantika hummed slowly, loosening her hold on Khushi. Khushi knew her friend had no ill intentions, so she gave her a side hug, brightening up Avantika a little.
"Is her room ready," Amoli asked.
Deviyani nodded. "Almost and Bhromor knows."
Khushi pursed her lips. Poor Bhromor, she's already sick as it is, and now she has to deal with me. Then again there is the nurse... but still.... And there's no way any of them are going to just let me be, they'll constantly come over to the cottage just to take care-
Just then, one of the workers came into the room. "The room is ready."
"Thank you Kirthi," Deviyani said, and Kirthi left.
"Perfect," Amoli said, and then turned to Arnav. "Chote, take Khushi upstairs."
Khushi's eyes widened. Huh?
"Yes, Mom," and Arnav turned to pick Khushi up.
However, Khushi quickly stepped away, looking at him in shock.
What are you doing?!
"Khushi stop playing around," Arnav scowled, and he went to pick her up again, though Khushi stepped away once more.
What-?!
"Even in sickness she has to be difficult," Amoli huffed.
Huh?
Khushi looked between Arnav and Amoli in confusion.
"Khushi, you are staying right here in this household," Amoli said, crossing her arms.
Khushi's eyes widened. But-!
"You are staying right under my nose and I'll be damned if I see you even lift a finger," she scowled.
But-!
"Lord help me, I will scold you the way I used to scold at Avantika whenever she would skip her homework."
"Hey," Avantika frowned.
Khushi looked down with a small pout. But... it's my duty-
"Chote, take her upstairs," Amoli repeated.
Arnav didn't waste another second and picked Khushi up into his arms. "Right away," he beamed.
Khushi scowled up at him, tugging on his shirt. Stop agreeing with her!
"What," Arnav said innocently.
Vijay couldn't help but to chuckle. "Such a couple."
"Honestly," Amoli chuckled as well.
