(Elana)

I sat up on my bed, already moved into my new dorm with Mia. I looked out the window at all the lit-up buildings and the amount of people still walking around. I've never seen a place so lit up before, it almost looked like a major city before all of the terrorist attacks and stuff happened.

I could suddenly read thoughts now, and I even tested this out a few minutes with Mia. It shocked the both of us at how advanced it was, and how clear I could hear even the smallest thoughts.

I have a feeling this won't be my only ability, however. Often Superlings develop more than one ability, and I could sense I will get the rest of mine soon enough. In time, they will show... I just have to be patient.

The usual amount of abilities a Superling gets is usually 5-6 abilities on average, with the most powerful Superhuman having up to 8-9 abilities.

No Superling or Superhuman has the exact same pattern of abilities either, it's all unique to that one Supernatural; even twins have a different set of abilities, sure they may be similar, but they aren't the exact same. This fact has both baffled scientists and the general population for months. I think it's for the best that it may not be known, sometimes it is best that way.

I looked on outside again, seeing it was now black as night. I was getting pretty tired, and so I got under the covers and glanced over at Mia who was reading a book that was in Latin, most likely for the heck of it... or something else, I don't know.

"Night... Master" I said to Mia, and she looked at me with a gentle smile.

"You to, Apprentice" Mia said back, and then I closed my eyes, falling into the familiar black abyss of sleep.

~~~~~~~~~~~
"Elana... Elana..." a strange, echoey voice called out from within the abyss.
I opened my eyes and I no longer saw black... I saw something else. A void in between a galaxy, or so that's what it seemed like to me. I felt like I was floating in outer space, stars were everywhere, but I also felt like I was soon standing on an invisible platform.
"Elana... Elana..." another strange voice called out to me, and when I turned around, I saw 2 glowing husk-like avatars. One was red and the other was blue, both featureless except for the giant glowing white eyes.
Y-Yes...? I wanted to say, but my voice wouldn't work. It seemed the celestial-like beings knew what I wanted to say anyway as they held their arms out, mirroring each other.
"Are you ready..." The blue one said.
"To claim the power to which belongs to you...?" The red one said.
"The power that is your birthright...?"
I looked at the celestial beings, confused. They could tell I was confused, looking at each other and flickered from their independent colors to Purple, probably already knowing the answer from my emotions and sheer reaction.
W... What are you talking about? I asked the celestial beings through telepathy. The twin beings looked back at me, staring straight into my soul through my sapphire blue eyes.
"... you shall see..." The blue one said.
"... in time. When you are ready..." The red one said.
"... when both of you are ready..."
The twin celestial beings then started to walk away, but that only left me with more questions than answers.
Wait! What is going on...? Who are you...? Please don't leave! I telepathically shouted, and the celestial beings turned around to face me and turned purple once again.
The beings then morphed into another form, the forms of... Nick and I, but in purple astral forms. I stared at them, mostly to my astral look-alike as they stared back at me.
"... you will know..." Nick's look alike said.
"... in time..." My look alike said.
The celestial beings then disappeared, leaving me alone in the void of stars and space. After what seemed like forever though, I was thrown back into the black void.
~~~~~~~~~~~~

I woke up with a gasp as it felt like I was falling off a skyscraper but managed to catch my breath. That's when I realized someone in the dorm was sobbing uncontrollably, and I got out of bed and walked to investigate why Mia was crying or having a panic attack out of nowhere.

"I... I don't know what happened..." an unfamiliar voice said.

"It's okay... those days happen... you're not alone" Mia's voice said.

I walked into the living room and saw Mia comforting someone, a girl with brown hair and seemed to be a 2nd to 3rd year Blue Superling. The Superling looked to have a panic attack, and so I sighed and let Mia do her thing.

"Oh, hey you're up! Finally!" Mia said, and I looked at her confused as she continued comforting the Superling.

"Morning... what happened, if you don't mind me asking?" I asked her, and Mia just shrugged.

"Not sure exactly. She couldn't find her Master, Monica, and so went to me when she couldn't find Monica. She fell into a severe panic attack and luckily it wasn't so bad that she couldn't breathe..." Mia said, and then she remembered something, "Oh! Elana, this is Eliza Flynn. Eliza, this is Elana Caldwell"

Eliza looked at me and waved, her dark brown eyes looking at me as if she were sensing or sensed something I could not... or couldn't yet anyway.

"You felt it to... didn't you?" Eliza said, and that confused me.

"What do you mean?" I asked her, and she glanced around.

"... the strange energy..."

I looked at her wide-eyed, knowing exactly what she was referring to. Mia looked at her wide-eyed but also worried, I had a feeling I knew what Eliza meant when she said that.

The strange energy; Twin beings... red and blue, then purple.

You will know... in time... I remembered them saying to me.
