Ora called me just after I finished getting dressed. Perfect timing.

Me: Ora?
Ora: Uhm... I'm trying to find your car or Didi's car and I can't find anything.
Me: We used a different car.
Ora: Okay uhm... when and where are we buying booze?
Me: Argh, Ora.I'm coming to the parking lot in a few.

"Baby, which clothes should I bring for you?" I ask Didi. "Anything is okay," she replies and I give her a kiss before going out to meet Ora.

"Hey Ora," I smile. "Hey," he smiles back. "Lea was on my tail. She's gonna be here soon," he tells me and I nod.

"Didi sent me too get her clothes for tomorrow," I say to him as he takes out clothes from his big suitcase. "Okay cool. I'll walk you to the car when I finish," he says.

He grabs his toiletry bag and an outfit for tomorrow and we head to Didi's car.

"That's a pretty mean car," he smirks when I unlock it. "That's what I said," I laugh.

Lea's car drives in followed by Jabu, Nolo, Amo, Mpumi and then Nokulunga. "Lemme quickly take these to Didi and then I'll come back out with her," I say to Ora and he nods.

I rush back inside and put our things down. "Let's go," I say and take her hand.

We walk out to our friends making a noise outside and arguing about food and booze. "They do this all the damn time," I whisper to Didi and she laughs.

"Okay look, we have three options; Barcelos, Nandos and KFC," Lea says. "No one wants KFC," Bonolo replies. "I do," Lebo says.

This is gonna be a very long night.

"Okay who's driving tomorrow?" I ask. "I'm not," Jabu said. "Yeah, me too," Amo said. "And me," Lea, Nokulunga and Mpumi said at the same time.

"Okay. That's a bit tricky. Guys, why don't we just chill today and get high? We'll drink in Cape Town," I say.

"I swear Maya is the mom of this group," Gundo says and we all laugh. "She definitely is," Fortune smiles.

Fortune and I talk now and I really like it. Our friendship is back to normal. Without all the fucking.

"And we are gonna have Nandos for dinner. Is that okay with everyone?" I ask and they all nod. "Now that that's sorted, we can go book rooms," I say.

"So many demands," Lesego groans. "Yes daddy," Lesedi says and rolls her eyes making us all laugh.

They booked rooms according to how they traveled today. It makes sense that way.

After we sorted everything out, Ora offered to pay for the food on condition he doesn't pay for booze for the next week. I mean, it's kinda fair.

Everyone voted for me to go buy the food because I'm 'the mom'. I took Nokulunga's car because it was the one closest to the exit.

These people that I call my friends decided that they're gonna park behind each other and not in the actual parkings.

Well, this place doesn't have a problem with it, but I do. I mean, who on earth does that?

The drive to Barcelos was short because it's just around the corner. I just couldn't walk there because it's late and I'm buying a lot of things.

On my way back, I called Ora and asked him to have everyone in the dining area. Thankfully, they listened and they were all there.

"I got four full chickens and a packet of chips for everyone with five 2liters of different soft drinks," I say to them when I sit down.

We all sat there, with tables joined together so that we eat together. We held a number of weird conversations and honestly, I wouldn't have wanted anything else.

"Y'all know that we're leaving at 05:00, right?" Didi asks. "So early?" Lebo complains.

"Yeah, Cape Town is 10 hours away and we're obviously gonna stop on the road," I say.

"We can leave after breakfast. Breakfast here starts at 07:00. After that, we head out," Lea suggests.

"Okay so let's say 07:30, we leave?" I ask. "Yes," Lea says. "Everyone okay with that?" I ask and they all nod.

"Be ready by 07:00, so that we can have breakfast together," I say.

We all went to our rooms at 22:20. Didi and I were so tired, we slept in the clothes we had on today.
