I took a short dress and sneakers before heading downstairs to shower.
I knocked on his door and he didn't respond. "Billy?" I called when I walked in. He was in the bathroom.
I slipped my robe off and walked to the bathroom.
He had his back towards me when I got in the shower so I hugged him. "You scared me," he chuckled. "Sorry," I laughed.

"Who was that?" Billy asked me after the call. "Lindani. Some guy that broke my phone in Kimberley," I responded. "Your phone looks perfectly fine to me," he said. "Yeah, he got me a new one," I said.
"Oh. I know a Lindani. His full name is Lindelani so I call him Lani," he said. "I wish I could somehow shorten my name," I said. "I like Maya. It's sweet and innocent unlike the girl who was named Maya," he said and I rolled my eyes.
"Come on, we should go get some breakfast," I said. "Nah, nah, nah. We'll go eat somewhere. Warona gives me really weird vibes," he said and I laughed.
"Warona and Hlogi are leaving today anyway, baby," I said and took his hand. My hand felt really small in his giant hand. He makes me feel so tiny.
"You two are so suspicious," Lesedi said when we walked out of the bedroom. "What do you even mean?" I laughed.
"I don't know. You two just look like you're gonna fall in love," she said and walked away. "Who would mind falling in love with you?" he asked and pulled me in for a kiss.
I- fa- love? Me? Billy? Fall in love? I- shit, I don't know.
We locked eyes and a smile grew on his face. "You're so beautiful," he whispered. "You're the beautiful one," I whispered back. "Whatever loser. You're still beautiful," he said and let me go.
If he keeps breathing, I might just fall in love with him.
