Last Breath - chapter 16

-Taylor's P.O.V-

"single man, reveal yourself!" Paddy Mcguinness boomed through the television. I manoeuvred my body of the sofa, being careful not to wake Annie who had fallen asleep on me, I held her head up and quickly placed a cushion under it. I decided now was the time to talk to Aiden, and hopefully he wouldn't snap my neck. I carefully and quietly sauntered up the stairs. I knocked on his door and got a groggy reply.

"Come in." the crackly voice spoke.

"Hey, sorry did I wake you?" I asked quietly, to my relief Aiden was sitting with his laptop on, which hopefully meant I hadn't woke him.

"No you didn't, I'm just tired, come in, take a seat." He smiled. I did as he said and perched myself on the end of his bed, he closed the laptop and placed it down on the bed besides him. Here goes.

"Look, Aiden, I'm sorry, for, well, you know-"

"Getting Annie pregnant?" He asked raising an eyebrow.

"Uh, yeah. But I'm here to help, I promise, I wont ever leave her, I'm going to get a job and support her as much as I can. I'm in love with her Aiden, I'm committed to this relationship, and you have my word that I wont ever leave her." I said, my hands were clammy with sweat, but the nerves began to disappear.

"Taylor, you don't need to apologise, I'm here to support you's too, and I'm proud that you've decided to stick by her, and you have my word that I'll support you's, no matter what." He smiled. I felt my face heat up. He was going to support us? He wasn't mad? I was snapped out of my thought when Aiden spoke again.

"I would of expected to hear the news a little later on in life but, I guess, the time is down to fate." He smiled again.

"Thanks Aiden, it means a lot, to have your support, thanks, and thank you for being so understanding, I thought you were going to snap my neck." He laughed and then stood up from the bed, I did the same and walked over the stand in front of him.

"Look, I know you felt you needed to talk about this, and thank you, I'm glad we did, but its late and I'm really tired, an- Oh shit, English essay!" He rubbed his face with his hand, holding back a yawn. "Anyway, thanks, night." He smiled.

"Yeah, thanks for the support. Night." I smiled. He held out his hand, I placed my hand in his expecting him to shake it, instead he pulled me towards him. At first I stood still, a little confused, then I smiled and hugged him back, the manly type of hug of course. I walked out of his room closing the door behind me, I heard the click of the light switch and a loud yawn. I yawned my self heading down the stairs. I peered into the living room to see Annie still curled up on the sofa, the steady rise and fall of her chest made me smile. The small throbbing in my head grew more intense and I sighed, moving into the kitchen. I pulled a glass out of the cupboard and filled it with cold water, I snapped a paracetamol out of the packet and popped it in my mouth, gulping hard to rid my mouth of the powdery taste. I shivered from the temperature of the water, filling my insides, turning me cold momentarily. I glanced at my watch. 10;49. I moved into the living room and smiled at Annie's sleeping body. My Annie. Annie Jenkins, I like how that sounds, I think I might just have to make an honest woman of her! I scooped her up In my arms, bridal style, and headed up the stairs. I had seen her naked before so I'm sure she wouldn't mind me changing her, I grabbed some three-quarter pants and a tank top and carefully slipped them on. I picked her up again, and climbed into the bed with my arms wrapped around her. She turned towards me and her eyes flicked open.

"I love you." She whispered, smiling at me, her beautiful eyes filled with love. I didn't reply to what she said. Instead I pulled her head closer to mine and I placed my lips on hers. I kissed her with so much care and passion. The kiss made my heart flutter, it was so soft and delicate, filled with true love. I pulled back to look at her.

"Actions speak louder than words." I whispered smiling. I moved close to her, I placed my nose against hers so our lips were touching. She tried kissing me again and I smirked against her lips. "No, go to sleep." I mumbled. She sighed in defeat, but she kept her face against mine. I smiled.

"I'M READY TO GO, BUT SHE'S SO, LOST IN STEREO, LOST STEREO, SHE'S OUTTA CONTROL SO BEAUTIFUL, LOST IN STEREO, LOST IN STEREO!" My ipod sang from across the room. I groaned and unwrapped my self from Annie and sauntered across the room. I tapped the 'stop alarm' icon. And stretched, letting out a yawn, I glanced back down at my ipod and saw the time read 9;30am. I could see the sun shining violently outside. Another great day in may. The 18th to be precise. I made my way over to the balcony and slid the doors open, I slid them closed again without making a single noise. Annie rolled over to face me, he face still submerged in sleep. I smiled looking at her cute face. I turned and looked over the park. I stared into the water below me, the fresh water was running quickly down the gap in the grass. Little purple flowers were growing either side of the stream. It looked like something you'd see on a movie, or in a dream. Then it dawned on me. I was going to be a father. My smile grew so incredibly large. If only my mother was here. I bet she'd be proud. I didn't stop the tear from running down my face. It was a tear of sadness, I missed my mother. But also a tear of happiness. I was going to be a father.

.......................................................................

ok, so this is short. Sorry. Its just a filler chapter, in chappy 17 the plot will move along a bit. Also he mentions his mother here, don't fear.. he'll reveal all in chappy 17. I'm a little anxious that I wont finish the story before April. That's how long I'm giving myself. I'm sure you will all hate me for the end. But its still a good one! Anywayyy.. I'll shut up now..
