JAKE P.O.V -
Since I'm enrolled in a school now, a headache went away. I didn't have to look for a place to stay, as Nicholas and I would surely be room mates. And if not, I will fight :)
I didn't have anything else to do. So, I moved into the school dormitory, organized everything and went out. I have a good amount of free time till next week. After that, everything would be a rush. Thankfully, the principal said that I'm allowed to make Nicholas my room mate. I will be good as we both don't have any other friends.
Coming out, I had no idea where to go or what to do. I decided to just walk around the area. Maybe I would find places like Hospital, Arcade, Departmental store, etc etc.
I did not find any of these. I was out there to look for important places. But, I was sitting on a bench with a chocolate ice cream and was watching kids playing. ( sToP PrOcRaStInAtInG, even tho that is something I would do :) )
I think they were from an orphanage. I saw a few girls, women, old women, old men, men and even boys with the kids. I was a little confused. I observed them well and among the girls, I saw someone familiar.
"Y/N...?" I called out. She turned around.
Y/N P.O.V -
"Kids! don't roam all around, stay near me! I will take you to the places you want to go, okay??" I told the children.
Suddenly, someone called me out. I turned around....
JAKE?
I felt really good! "Jake? how did you happen to be here?" I asked. "I was just roaming around when I saw you.." he shyly said.
Oh? why did he had to be so shy~?
"Um....Y/N? Who are these kids?" He asked. I smiled and said "Kids who want some company"
He still looked confused, so I explained clearly - "They are orphans. I volunteer here every weekend. All age groups can volunteer. That's why you can spot all types of people working".
"Ah.... I get it now. How many places do you work in?!" He asked. I laughed "Yeah, its true that I work a lot. I have school, the cafe, volunteering in the weekend".
He said "Wow, TaLeNt"
JAKE P.O.V -
I said "Wow, TaLeNt"
She laughed.
Just like today morning.
I wanted to hear her laugh everyday now.
