"Don't you wanna dance?" Ashley asked Laur for the umpteenth time.
"Ugh! Ash, I've answered you a million times already and my answer still remains the same." Laur replied clearly annoyed at the fact that Ash refused to take no for an answer. It was really annoying her to no end because Ash just happened to bring her back from her thoughts only when she was thinking of the mysterious man she locked eyes with a few minutes ago.
She turned her head towards where she saw that strange man earlier but he wasn't there. Taking the time to reminisce, she thought about their little eye lock. Immediately she entered the club, she didn't know how her eyes wandered but she locked eyes with the most mesmerizing set of grey eyes she had ever come across. Those eyes seemed to bore into her soul, she couldn't ignore or deny the tingles that ran through her body as she stared at him shell shocked. She proceeded to look at his other facial features, lock eyes with him again and get lost in the sensation but she was distracted by a sudden movement on his chest. That was when she saw a lady, a scantily dressed one with extremely large boobs that she was trying to shove in the man's face all the while running her perfectly manicured hand over his broad chest. She was pretty but in a slutty way. She suddenly felt self conscious, came out of her trance and scrambled after her sisters who were already way ahead of her. What was she thinking? That a man as hot as that would ever choose someone as plain as her over that D cup breasted individual? Yeah very funny.
Now here she was stuck with Ash whining about dancing."Earth to Laura!" Ash shouted over the loud music while tapping Laura's cheek.
"Right, I know Mia always said you were a killjoy but I didn't know it was this bad." Ash said before she walked into the dance floor, her curls bouncing on her back with every step she took but not before giving Laura an annoyed look. While Laura, Tay and Ric had brown hair. Ashley, Asher and Mia shared the blonde hair colour in the family. They really were a mixture. Fortunately for Laur, she had one feature she didn't share with her siblings, her mother's green eyes.
"You must be really lost in thoughts to not notice someone sit in front of you." A deep controlling voice said bringing Laur out of her semi trance. She really had to stop forgetting that she was in public and start realizing that she could be kidnapped......
"Hello" she heard that voice again and this time she looked up and came face to face with the exact same eyes that held her captive when she entered Pearl a while ago. She was too amazed to utter anything. How could someone be so beautiful? It was unfair. With his sharp jawline, beautiful grey eyes adorned with long lashes, plump lips that she really felt like kissing if she had.....
"You know, a picture would last longer." Armando said smugly taking a sip from his drink. He had ordered while miss green eyes here didn't acknowledge his presence. Normally, he announced himself, but this girl here didn't seem to know he existed. Least to say, his ego was bruised. Luckily, by the way she was looking at him, he knew that at least she found him attractive.
"Not if I don't want to take it." Laur said smugly surprising her self. She felt at ease with this stranger.
" With the way you're looking, I'm pretty sure you would want to." Armando replied feeding his ego and getting a warm feeling in his heart about her getting his picture. He would really love that.
" Well unfortunately for you, I don't want a fat ugly man's picture in my possession" Laura retorted lamely after conquering the embarrassment she felt at been caught staring.
"Feisty. I know I'm not fat and certainly not ugly."
"That's what you think."
Who was this girl? Did she really find him unattractive?
