Indigo was slowly walking down the stairs. Entering the living room she saw her father crying. She sat next to him putting her arm around his shoulders.

"I miss her Indigo. I miss her so much." He started crying even more.

"I know. I miss her too dad."

"I wish they found her. Then, at least, I could've go on her grave and leave some flowers."

This happens on every single anniversary. Indigo felt sick. She didn't want to watch her father like this. The strongest person she knew became this. Little sad, crying baby. She needed her father back.

"I know something that could help. C'mon."

...

Two of them were standing next to the rock Indigo would usually sit on.

"Why are we here?" Her father had no idea.

"When I'm sad, when i really miss her I come here and talk."

"You talk?"

"Yeah."

"But why?"

"She's somewhere there."

"So?" Her father asked still not understanding.

"So it feels like I'm talking to her."

Indigos father looked at her not sure what she just said.

"You should try it too."

He was still skeptic, but he was so desperate he didn't have anything to lose.

"My dear Mya, it's been five years since last time I talked with you." Indigos dad insecurely started.

Today was fifth anniversary of Indigos mothers death. At those days, Indigos father would stay at home and cries his eyes out until he'd be asleep. She was surprised he agreed to go out with her.

"Past five years were really hard, you know."

"I'm still not used to waking up without you next to me."

And that was truth. Her nightstand looked the same way she left it the day she went on that cruiser. T-shirt she wore the day before is still on the chair next to the window. Her all closet is still the same like she organised it. All these little things made Indigos father think that she's still there and that she'll walk through the door eventually.

"I wish you could see our baby girl all grown up."

"She's the bravest kid I have ever seen."

Few minutes passed in silence. Indigo gave her father rose she took from their garden. Those were the roses Indigos mother liked the most. They threw roses in the water telling Mya how much they love her. Two of them stood there in each others arms watching roses floating away.

"Indigo?"

Both, Indigo and her father turn around as they heard the voice just to meet scared Luke.

"Sir." Luke said not knowing what to do.

"You must be Luke. Call me David, son." Indigos father smiled a little wiping the tear from his cheek.

Luke nodded uncertainly, not knowing what to say.

"Today is fifth anniversary of mums death."

Little 'Oh' escaped Lukes mouth. He felt uncomfortable. Indigo wasn't supposed to be here. She even told him that. He planned to come here and relax. But it was far from relaxing. He was nervous as hell. For Gods shake, he was standing in front of Indigos father.

"I was miserable, so she took me here."

"I thought it would help."

"It did."

"I'm so sorry sir, I mean David." Luke shook his head.

"You have no reason to be sorry kid. It's life, shit happenss."

They all laughed at Indigos fathers words. But not long after uncomfortable silence appear again.

"C'mon kids. Let's take a coffee. I think we all need it."

When Indigo and Luke agreed they all started walking. Luke hoped for the best. His insecurity disappeared when he felt strong arm around his shoulders...
