Indigo was so angry with herself. How could she be that stupid? For last two hours she was searching for the necklace her mother gifted her. She gifted it to her shortly before the accident. The necklace was nowhere to be found. She lost it.
"Honey is everything alright?" Indigo's father asked her after hearing several noices from her room.
"Have you seen my dolphin necklace?" Indigo asked him.
"No."
"Ugh, I can't find it anywhere."
"It'll show up eventually, you'll see."
"Dad I lost it." Indigo almost screamed.
"You need to calm down love."
"But necklace."
"We'll find it later. C'mon now, you have cass in 10."
Indigo disappointedly grabbed her bag and started walking behind her father.
...
"What's wrong?" Abigail asked Indigo while they were all eating lunch.
"It's nothing."
"Indigo?"
"It's nothing, I swear."
"You're lying."
"But I know what'll make everything better." Dylan interrupted Abigail, "We're all going to the coffee shop today."
Indigo opened her mouth but Dylan interrupted once again.
"No excuses."
Indigo knew there was no point fighting with Dylan. Few days ago she refused to go with them. If she did the same again now, they'll probably be angry with her and she didn't want that.
"We need to spend some time together."
"I feel like we haven't do that in forever."
Indigo kinda agreed with Keily. For the last few days they had a lot of exams and they all had to study because they wanted to make bright future for themselves.
So that's how it went. After school four of them were walking to the coffee shop.
"You know that cute guy you talked to?"
"Yeah." Indigo said nervously.
"He stormed out after we entered last time."
"His shift was probably over."
"C'mon Indigo we know he laid eye on you." Abigail joked.
"Maybe he was disappointed that you weren't there." Dylan continued.
Indigos cheeks turned red.
"Actually, you never told us what did you said to him."
"Guys stop. Let her breathe." Keily interrupted Abigails and Dylans little party as she saw how nervous Indigo was.
"Look who's working." is what Abigail said while entering the cafe.
Indigo ignored the comment straightly walking to the empty table. Her friends did the same.
"Indigo don't look back but the guy is coming over."
Indigo froze.
"G'day. May I take your order?"
'His voice is angelic' Indigo thought. Now she had an opportunity to scan him. His hair was in a bun while few curls were trying to escape. He looked tired. But his eyes were still incredibly beautiful just like the first time she saw them.
"And you?" his voice took her out of her thoughts.
"Oh, sorry." she said shaking her head, "I'd like hot chocolate, please."
He just nod leaving them.
"Something is going on here."
And Dylan received crumpled paper right in his face...
