CHAPTER 25

Kristoff asked me while I'm getting inside his car.

"I don't have time," I reasoned out and looked away.

He scowled.

He raised a brow and chuckled, shaking his head. "You sure? Because I can clearly see that--"

"Shut the fuck up, Kristoff," I said in a cold voice.

He laughed it off and started to drive. Nanahimik ako sa tabi niya. Parang lumulutang ang isip ko sa alapaap. I still can't believe I saw him yesterday in our company.

He looks good and okay now. He gained weight too, mukhang nakakatulog na rin at nakakakain nang maayos. And... Kace looks happy.

Bumili ako ng kotse noon. Brand new, walang binatbat 'yong dati kong kotse. I bought it because I wanted to forget everything about him. My ego told me to ditch it but when I did, I kept on drinking alcohols because I still can't forget. So I ended up ditching the brand new one and I came back to my old car.

That's what I'm using now. The old car. I have no plans on buying new one because I know I can't let go of it. There's a lot of memories in that car... Our memories.

Kristoff and I went to the TSB building. As usual, maraming empleyado ang nakatingin sa amin at nagbubulungan.

"You know what, people here think we're together," Kristoff casually said as we walked together.

My forehead wrinkled up and laughed sarcastically. "I'm glad to know they just think that. We're not really together, though."

Kristoff clicked his tongue and I heard his nervous chuckle.

I didn't answer him. I was wearing formal attire with shades on and I can hear my heels' sounds as I walked sharply.

I sighed and pointed my finger at her. "Mara, what's my schedule today?"
