THE TRIO HAD RETURNED and Payton couldn't be more than happy with the Holmes' return too.
Payton and Tewksbury have not spoken since their conversation at the market, still Payton had her hand clasped around his, while following Enola Holmes, who was heading them to the lodge she had been living in.
Enola had explained that Tewksbury was in danger, which Payton had already understood, but the fact that she was too had alienated her.

Trying to attract as little attention as possible, they wandered around London, until finally reaching the address.
"Is this how you're living?" Tewksbury asked, somewhat disgusted by the state of the room.
Payton cringed internally when her finger made contact with the dust of the bedside table.
"Did you rent a room at the Ritz?" Enola retorted sarcastically, shaking off his previous question.
"I afforded myself a shade more comfort than this," he reasoned.
