(Brendon P.O.V) wait ok this is a new one.

"MIGHTYENNA USE ICE FANG"  I yelled
"VOLTORB-" Wattson yelled
With that the volttorb fell to the floor in defeat
"ALRIGHT" May yelled
"Nice job brendon" Ruby called
"A unique Strategy" Steven said
I walked up to Wattson and shook his hand.
"Good battle kid" He said
"And here is the proof that you defeated the Mauville gym"
I nodded and ran over to May, Ruby and Steven mightyenna by my side.
"Good job Brendon" May said as tackled me into a hug
"I didn't think that ice was super affected against electric type?" Ruby said
"Its not Super affected but I does do a certain amount of damage" May said
"Alright Ruby your next" Steven said
"I'll wait for your battle tomorrow" May said
"In the meanwhile I'm gonna go find myself a few tart apples." May said
"Ok then see you around May" Ruby said
"DON'T GET INTO ANY TROUBLE"  I yelled
"I WON'T" she yelled back
"Yeah right" I said
"ITS LIKE I DIDN'T SEE THAT GALLADE ABOUT TO THROW A SHADOW BALL AT YOU YESTERDAY" I yelled.
Ruby stepped back a little
"Don't Think about it" Steven said putting a hand on her shoulder.
Ruby was the one who told me about the gallade. I wasn't too mad But I did ask Steven to check the area.
Ruby sighed and said
"I need some air"

(Steven P.O.V)
"I need some air"
I looked at Ruby as she left the gym.
"Does she always blame herself" Brendon asked me
"I wouldn't know. She told me very little about her life" I explained
"Its best if you take after her. It's not good when emotions are balled up. I would know it happened to May when she was younger" Brendon explained
I walked out of the gym and walked around for a bit. Trying to find Ruby wasn't really a difficult challenge because of her dark red hair but still. This time it took longer than I expected.  But someone always gave it off.....
"GET THE HELL AWAY FROM ME!" Ruby voice screeched.
Quickly following the voice Ruby was surrounded.
"What did I say!" I asked
"Shit" the blond one said
She jumped onto her pidgeot and took off. I looked at the other three boys.
One grab another's hand and took off running.
Another hopped onto a Golbat and took off after the blond.
I sighed as I look towards Ruby.
She was on the ground her back pushed up against a tree, eyes where turning red from her tears.
I reached my hand out and she grabbed it....... I yanked her up and whispered in her ear.
"Meet me at blue water cliffs later tonight"

And yes I do know that blue water cliffs isn't an actual place in hoenn I just needed a cliff name.

(Ruby P.O.V) goodness its everyone's pont of view today

"Meet me at blue water cliffs later on tonight"
I looked at him before he walked off
"W-what just happened" I thought blush peering across my face heating up like hell.
"Hey Ruby are you ok" May's voice sounded from behind me
"Huh oh umm I uhhh" I didn't know what to say
"Why are you so red? Did you get sick just before your battle against wattson!" May started panicking
"No no no no! I'm fine just Steven" I said
"Holy heck"
"What did he say!" May demanded
"He told me to meet him at blue water cliffs later on tonight" I said looking down
"You know what that-that means right?" May asked me.
"Huh W-what" I asked
"HE ASKED YOU OUT."
"actually no wait did he ask you to meet him there or just to meet him there" May asked
"He told me to meet him there" I said
"Your so freaking lucky" she punched me.
"I- I gess I am" I thought
