(Steven P.O.V)
Looking out at the sun over the cliff as it lowered over the water sending a vibrant orange color around in the sky. It was quite beautiful, In a state of shock we both jolted back and turned around to the sound of a wild pokemon cry.
"What was that" Ruby asked
"I don't know" I said
Then an explosion went off and Emerald hopped up onto Ruby's shoulder.
"Come on let's go" She said grabbing her bag. I ran after her.....the cries got louder and louder to the point I could make out what type of pokemon it is.
We stopped behind two different trees.
"These guys again" Ruby complained
"You've delt with them before?" I asked
"A couple times" Ruby replied while pulling her hair up into a ponytail.
"So how do you wanna play this?"Ruby asked
"Try to talk some sense into them but if worst come to worst be ready" I explained
She nodded. We walked out to four team magma grunts.
"Well well well" one of them said
"Here to wipe us all again like you do every time"
Ruby clenched her hands into a fist.
"Hmp seems like the girlfriend wants to have an old fashion fist fight" Another grunt said
Ruby blushed redder than a flareon.

Is that even possible?

"Ok that's it let that vulpix free right now!" Ruby snapped.
"Or your gonna regret it....."
"Mmm yeah no" A grunt said
"GOLBAT YOUR UP"
"ZIGZAGOON GET OUT HERE"
A golbat and a zigzagoon flee out of two separate pokèballs.
"Your part about trying to talk sense into them?" Ruby said
"There ideots you know they will never listen" I said
"METAGROSS LETS GO" I threw Metagross pokèball up in the air.
"Let's go Everest!" Ruby snapped
"USE BITE" Ruby yelled
"Dodge it then use gust"
"Hurry use physic!" I yelled
It was all a blur to Ruby and I. I couldn't see anything. But Ruby did........
"EVEREST NO" She cried
Her poochyena was no where in sight.
"We'll cover you go find Everest" I said
"Right thanks Steven" She replied
"Emerald give him a hand".

(Ruby P.O.V)
I couldn't look back just running. That is all I was telling myself to do. I heard the commotion of the battle going on behind me.
"No ruby no you need to find Everest" I thought
"Poochey~" Everest whimpered
"EVEREST" I sighed in relief.
She kept whimpering she was in to much pain. Was I loosing her? No no No! She is a strong one.
"Shh I know girl I know it hurts but please you need to stay with me here........please Everest please" I explained nearly crying..
Then it happened, a bright blue light surrounded her. I backed away she was evolving!.
"MIGHTYENNA!" She yelped in angerment.
"Everest" I cried and hugged her
I stood up and turned.
"Right we need to go find Steven" I said. Everest leaped in front of me and bowed. Informing me to ride on her back....

Can you ride mightyenna.? I know in let's go pikachu and eevee you can ride arcanine.

I heard him. I heard the battle straight ahead of me. My hair flying behind as Everest ran faster and faster.
"Metagross quick catch Emerald" Steven called
"Do it know use aerial Ace" a grunt yelled. I jumped off of Everest and screamed.
"USE THUNDER FANG!"
The golbat fell down to the ground,
"NOW EMERALD USE SWIFT LETS GO" I yelled
Emerald jumped up and golden stars came out from behind him. The zigzagoon also fell In defeat.
"Oh forget it" A grunt said
"Beat it all four of you!" Steven snapped. They all ran off
"E-E-Evoi" Emerald ran over to the vulpix.
"Vul~" the vulpix cheeres happily.
"Oh my Arceus" Steven said
"What" I asked
"That's a shiny one" Steven said
"Hm no wonder why they where after her" I said......with that the vulpix ran off.
"That's done" I thought
"But that's not gonna be the last time we see them" I explained.
"Teh yeah no kidding" Steven said
"I need to rest up I got a battle tomorrow" I said
"I wont be in mauville tomorrow to watch your battle against Wattson so good luck" Steven said
"Gonna need it" I said.
I got onto Everest back and rode off to the pokemon center.
