"USE BULLET SEED" I yelled.
"DODGE IT THAN USE ELECTRO BALL" Watson yelled.
"WATCH IT BRELOOM" I called
Right in the beginning of the battle shroomish evolved.
Nice two evolutions in two days
"VOLTORB!" Wattson called.
I smiled as I looked at May she gave me a huge thumbs up
"Heal yourself up! USE LEACH SEED" I yelled.
With the leach seed taking away voltorbs last bit of energy I won.
"Good job voltorb" Wattson said as he recalled voltorb, I decided to keep Breloom out of his pokèball because how hard he worked.
I walked up to Wattson breloom bye my side.
"It last long but you and breloom showed hard work" Wattson said
"Here. To show you beat the mauville gym" Wattson said handing me the gym bage.
"If you bring the amount of strength you had today to every battle. You will make it far" Wattson explained.
"BRE" breloom screamed.
"Thanks for the good battle Wattson. Hope to battle you again sometime" I yelled running out of the gym. May not far behind me
"THAT WAS AMAZING" She yelled
"You and breloom make such a good team" May commented
"Thanks May......oh there's on more thing I wanna show you" I said.
"Well what is it" May asked
I pulled out Emerald pokèball and threw it up into the air and out came the white eevee.
"W-huh- wh-when and how!" May asked confused, Emerald jumped up onto my shoulder cried I raised my hand to pet him.
"Steven gave him to me" I said as I held Emerald close to me.
"I call him Emerald" I said.
"W-wow just-just wow" May was speechless
"You know shiny Espeon is an Emerald green color" May said
"Nooooooo you don't say" I said sarcastically.
"Welp it's off to Flannery next" May said
"You going straight there or?" I asked. May shook her head
"Nope Brendon started making his way back to dewford so he can catch a water type.....so we probably won't see each other until you both  defeat Flannery" May explained
"Alright then see you around c'mon Breloom" I yelled running off.
"Alrighr see you" May called I made my way over to the pokèmon center to heal up.
Once my team was healed up I released Emerald and looked at him.
"What to evolve you into....." I thought.....
I looked up at the T.V playing in the corner. It was a battle between Steven and Wallace, in the end Steven kept his place as champion. I turned back to Emerald and looked at him he gave a cheerful little yelp.
"Excuse me nurse joy" I asked
"Oh yes Ruby how can I help you" Nurse joy asked
"Do you know what type of pokemon are Flannerys" I asked.
"Oh yes Flannery specializes in fire types so having a water, Rock or a Dragon type on your team would help" Nurse joy said.
"Ok thank you" I said and walked out with Emerald up on my shoulder.
"Gess where gonna need to catch a water type to huh?" I asked
"EVOI~" Emerald Cried
