(May P.O.V)
"HURRY UP RUBY ITS ALMOST SIX" I called
"I'm going ok!" She called back
I took Ruby over to a clothing store to pick out a new dress cause well you know all of her other clothes are damaged or wrecked or.....YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN
Ok May take a chill pill
"I'm ready" Ruby called
"well then get out here!" I snapped
"Alright you don't have to shout at me" She called.
Ruby opened the door and I gasped at how beautiful she looked. She had a red and white plad off the should dress and a black Jean jacket.
"You look beautiful" I said
"Teh thanks I've never worn something this nice before I was always afraid it would get wrecked.....in some sort of way" Ruby explained
"What do you think Steven wants to meet me for" She asked
"I don't know he freaking asked you to meet him at blue water cliffs. That's where the last time kyogre was spotted 10 years ago!" I remembered
"Oh who cares you better get going" I grabbed her wrist and dragged her out of the pokemon center
"Well then I gess I'm off. I'll see you tomorrow for my battle against Wattson" Ruby said
"Yepers... Now go" I said
"Ok ok bye" She said running off.

(RUBY P.O.V)
I walked over to the cliffs..
"Oh my Arceus" I said
"This place is beautiful"
The sun was slowly getting lower and lower. I place my bag off to the side and sat down and took a few deep breaths.
It caught me off guard when I heard a voice behind me say.
"A beautiful place isn't it"
"It is.....especially when a legendary swims in the area" I explained looking over my shoulder. Steven was standing there one hand in his pocket.
I stood up.
"So why did you want me to meet you here" I asked
"Well the ones from earlier. I'd like to know why they hurt you" Steven said....placing a hand on my shoulder. My face heating up again! I turned.
"Its a long story" I said
"Cut it short. I just want to know why" Steven said.
I sat down and Steven sat down next to me.
"You see growing up. I had a baileaf plush and I always brought it everywhere I went and because of that people Bullied me about it. This happened until the third grade when. Trinity, jack, ian and Anthony stepped in.
I thought they where my friends but they bother me whenever I had the plushie. So I stopped bringing it anywhere and that bothered me. It made me quite and self conscious. So when they saw that in me they used that to there advantage and started verbally hurting me. But it wasn't until the summer of seventh grade that I finally realized they where toxic and where dangerous and so......when I said I was done. Trinity sent Ian, Jack and Anthony after me." I explained  on the brink of tears. Steven pulled me into hug.
"I wish you had told me earlier Ruby" He said
"I just don't want you getting involved in my problems. Your the champion you have a whole region to take care of" I said
"Yes but part of talking care of the region is to make sure everyone and every pokèmon within this region is safe" Steven explained
"I'm not lying when I say this but I didn't think you would care" I mumbled
"Why wouldn't I care!" Steven asked in shock.
"I was alone most of my life......I'm sorry" I mumbled
"Don't be sorry" Steven said as he looked at me in the eyes.
I looked down and Whipped my tears away and stood up and walked over to the cliff I felt Steven's hand on my shoulder as he held out a pokèball.
"Here I caught him earlier" Steven explained
I took the pokèball from his hand I gently threw it up into the air and out came a shiny eevee
"Evoi~" it cried I nearly started crying.
"Oh my Arceus" I said as I got down to my knees and held out my hand. The Eevee came up to me and rubbed its head against my hand I picked up the eevee and turned to Steven.
"Do you like him?" Steven asked
"I love him he's to cute" I said turning the eevee around and held him up. His eyes where green as an emerald.
"Emerald" I mumbled
"Evoi~" eevee cried
"I'm happy you found another part of your team" Steven said handing me the pokèball.
I looked at him
"D-do you mean this" I asked holding Emerald close to me.
"I wouldn't be giving him to you if you if I didn't mean it" Steven said
"Dang champions and there wisdom" I thought

We sat down and watched the sun set. I laid my head on Steven's shoulder as Emerald Rested on my lap. The big question is, what evolution do I want to evolve Emerald into.
