Chapter 2: Secret Places, Hobbies, and Cocky Bastards.
After almost 30 minutes, I was welcomed by the huge school seal engraved at our school's huge oak gate that was widened 50 years ago to fit the cars
Woodrow-Charleston Academy was founded by my great grandfather Theodore Woodrow and his best friend Nikolai Charleston in 1897. They were just two small-town men who wanted to provide education for the ones who are willing to learn. Little did they know that the school they started with only 24 students will now be the most prestigious school that will cater 2,400 of the best of generations.
I haven't met any of the Charlestons though. The only thing I know about them is that they moved to London when Mr. Nikolai died in 1942.They still own stocks to the school though most of it is now ours.
My grandfather loves this school so much. It was the seed of the foliage that is our wealth. Mr. Nikolai and my great-grandfather's hard work would've gone to waste had they not invest it here and our lives won't be as comfortable as it is now.
"Good Morning, Miss Woodrow." Chief Riggs, the head of security greeted me as he opened the gate. I just nod.
From the outside, all you can see is its castle-like walls, completely surrounding the school's perimeter.
Once you pass the gate, into the parking lot, you will be welcomed by the 4 buildings. The first on the right is the Administration building where my office and all the other faculty and administration offices are found. It's only three stories tall.

Behind that is the Academic building, a four story high structure where all Academic classrooms are located. It has 80 classrooms from first to third floor.
The one on the front left is the Cafeteria, a one story building. From the outside, it looks the same as the others but on the inside it resembles that of an Italian restaurant.
And lastly, the Activities building.
It's a 4-story building where all extracurricular and extra credit classes are held. It consists of classrooms and club offices from second to third floor. The first floor, is where the gyms , courts, showers, and lockers are. And the fourth is off limits to all students but me.
At the back of the school, is where the multipurpose sports field is, it's where the football, soccer, and track and field meets are held.
An open field where students stay during their free time, is also located at the back of the school.
After logging in to the system located at the security office, I made my way to the admin building, being occasionally greeted by some school personnel along the way.
